September 9, 2024 at 11:05 amThe team have been fantastic all the way through and they give our son the encouragement and assistance that is needed, we have seen him come on leaps and bounds since joining last year. Thank you. We adore Munchkins.

September 14, 2024 at 10:32 pmMy little girl absolutely loves it. All the team are exceptional and make everyone sense so welcome. Use lots of natural materials. Couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre. Was worried returning after lockdown but the childcare centre have done so much to ensure it was secure to return and my little girl settled back quickly. Outstanding Childcare centre!

October 3, 2024 at 5:11 amWhen viewing nurseries in the local area Munchkins stood out miles above every other I visited. Having worked in a setting myself in the past I knew what I did and didn’t want and Munchkins ticked every box.
Inviting and homely setting, compassionate team who were able to answer all of my questions and queries as a nervous first time mother leaving her kid in a childcare centre setting. Absolutely fabulous team, my son is currently in early walkers and the girls consistently go above and beyond and my little boy basically runs into childcare centre every day so excited to learn, playtime and be part of the setting. Thanks so much everyone. My son has been attending Munchkins Childcare centre & Pre-School since September 2022.

November 7, 2024 at 3:41 pmMy son is now at Munchkins. I cannot explain how incredible this place is. The team sense like family and have formed bonds with my kids and myself which will last way beyond the childcare centre years. The setting is lovely and the team cannot do enough for the kids in their care. Even in hard times, we have been fully supported by the management and team. I would suggest Munchkins 100%. My daughter attended Munchkins shortly after it opened and is now at school.

December 6, 2024 at 10:59 amIt’s a lovely setting and my only issue is that she only goes one day a week! My daughter attends weekly and loves her time at Munchkins, she often talks about her friends and keyworkers when at home.

December 10, 2024 at 5:08 amThe friends she’s made, the things she’s discovering and knowing she’s in such a excellent discovering setting whilst we work lessens my mental load no end.
Thank you to the team for looking after her so well, even if it does include a lot of sand in her hair My daughter started in the middle of the pandemic and she’s thrived.

March 20, 2025 at 1:07 amAfter meeting the team & undertaking settle in days we were more than cheerful with our choice and felt very comfortable & confident with leaving her in their care. The management has consistently gone out of their way to assists with any special requests & her ‘ladies’ have been exceptional with her development & additional skincare needs. The parents’ app is remarkable, especially supportive during my transition of adapting to her being in the childcare centre as you and family can stay connected with what goes on whilst working. They undertake lots of different activities indoors &outdoors, going to rhyme time, the park, doing arts and crafts, soft playtime, books, playing in the garden etc giving her a wide range of experiences. The childcare centre has a lovely home away from home feeling we are consistently welcomed by cheerful team. Our daughter goes to them with open arms in the morning and often seems somewhat disappointed when we pick her up even if she is the last one. Our daughter joined Laindon Munchkins in December 2019.

March 20, 2025 at 2:05 amHis development and development since attending is remarkable. We cannot praise the team enough for all their efforts. The daily updates on the parent app are remarkable and we find it very reassuring to see how cheerful he is through the day. We are so cheerful we chose Munchkins. Our son has been attending Munchkins for 6 months now and he absolutely loves it.

March 25, 2025 at 4:35 amMy daughter joined during lockdown and I found it difficult not being able to see her in the setting, especially in the first few weeks. The team reassured me with regular updates and the daily portal is incredible. I can see how much my daughter’s self‑assurance has grown since attending Munchkins and I sense completely at ease when dropping her off and collecting her. She asks to go to childcare centre on her days off and you can’t ask for more than that. I would highly suggest Munchkins it’s a excellent setting for early years kids.

April 1, 2025 at 3:11 pmNow he loves it, the level of care they put into each kid is exactly what you want as a parent. He’s consistently doing lots of different activities and they are posted with pictures on the parent app so I can follow throughout the day. Very supportive with potty training. I have had a very positive journey with all the team and this childcare centre. My son started this childcare centre nearly a year ago when he was 18 months old, due to COVID I could only drop at the door so he would get a upset and took longer than usual to settle, the girls were incredible in making sure they did everything they could to help settle him and keeping my updated constantly.

April 6, 2025 at 12:39 amEspecially if you encounter one sickness bug after another, random unexplained bumps to the head and them signing the accident form for you and then dismissing the fact she wasn’t cared for properly by landing us with a six-week “break the contract” bill which we think is ridiculous. I would never leave a do not suggest for no reason. Out of goodwill, we paid for four weeks because they were very insistent we paid for them to never have our daughter, which why should we of? I pulled her out immediately because she barely attended due to picking up so many bugs from there and wetting herself four times a day (all before 1 pm pick up as she needed mummy so much due to being so distressed). So we were actually paying for half days. I’ve never known anything this bad, save yourselves the bother and I will continue to post across the board so you are fully aware of your rights before they can do this to anyone else. Do not suggest. Read the small print for the six weeks break clause. Would not suggest this childcare centre at all.

May 1, 2025 at 5:30 pmMy daughter is 3.5 years old has been attending since the day it opened. I was nervous at first as it was brand new but the owners are lovely and so well‑informed about early years education and have other settings elsewhere. I really sense the team do whatever they can for the benefit of the kids.
My daughter loves it here, she is so cheerful and has learnt so much more than I thought she could at her age. But this discovering happens through the huge amount of playing they do.
The activities are forever changing and keep the kids interested. The outside area is excellent for all weather and I know my daughter is secure.
One of her favourite things is when the childcare centre manager plays his guitar and sings with the kids.
Absolutely incredible childcare centre and I will be sad when my daughter graduates in the summer! I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough.

May 7, 2025 at 10:36 amAfter 4 months of attending I can say my kid really enjoys it, he smiles as soon as he sees the girls working there, he walks to the door on his own and the girls all seem to genuinely care for him. I’m really cheerful we decided to send him there and I sense comfortable going to work knowing he’s well looked after and entertained. I would really suggest. I was quite anxious at the idea of sending my kid to childcare centre, but when I went to check Munchkins it looked lovely and everyone was super nice and smiley, the kids seemed very at ease and comfortable with them too.

May 11, 2025 at 9:30 amHe absolutely loves it and has come along so much since starting here.
I sense content when he is here as the team are incredible and really pay attention to the little things about him. The updates and photos are really great and I can tell he is consistently cheerful and having enjoyable. The team have consistently helped him come along in the areas I am working on at home too, which is really supportive for me. I consistently pick up on things my son has learned whilst at childcare centre (new words, singing a new song).
I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone, the facilities are excellent (especially the garden). The food is varied and healthy, and the team care so well for the kids. My son has been attending Munchkins since he was 11 months old.

May 17, 2025 at 11:17 amHe has moved up through every room and is now due to leave in September for school. Every step of the way Munchkins have been absolutely exceptional for his development.
The team are welcoming, open and honest, any issues he has had over the years have been dealt with by the team with incredible assistance and guidance to us as parents without being overbearing.
The outdoor spaces are incredible with plenty of provision for water playtime in the summer and a huge sandpit (which our son loves). Arts and crafts often come home, and many different cultures and holidays are celebrated and learnt about. The day is well balanced between discovering and enjoyable and our son has come on leaps and bounds during his time at Munchkins and we will all miss it for sure come September. My son has attending Munchkins since shortly after his 1st birthday.

June 11, 2025 at 5:38 pmShe only goes one day a week but settled really nicely with the team. Everyone is supportive and inquiries are consistently dealt with quickly. I like that we get real time updates and photos during the day so we aren’t left wondering what she ate or drank or how she was feeling that day. Our daughter has been part of Laindon Munchkins since she was 9 months old and loves it!

June 13, 2025 at 5:05 pmFrom the first walk around, everyone was so lovely to me and my son who was then 8 months old. He even got excited when he saw the kids doing childcare centre rhymes. Munchkins’ garden is what sold it for me. Kids should be outdoors exploring, being adventurous. They have a excellent mud kitchen for the older ones, little ones, tunnels, sensory area. The team and girls have been so accommodating since my son started. I also adore the online discovering journal, as a new mum, of course, deep down we want to ring every hour and see if they’re okay, are they having enjoyable, this app really does that for you. They upload throughout the day, so you can what they’ve eaten, toilet times, sleep times and also observations on their day, eg. splash time, sensory, rhyme time. Really can’t suggest Munchkins enough. There is so much I want to say about this childcare centre as it is incredible!

July 3, 2025 at 8:48 pmThe ladies at Munchkins are all so attentive and thoughtful, which gives me a lot of comfort.
The sense of the setting and ethos of bringing the outside in is appealing, as well as a well thought out outdoors playtime areas gives a forestry school sense in the middle of an urban area. I know my little one is free to explore in a secure and controlled setting.
All exploratory playtime is relevant to the time of year and fitting to the overall sense of the childcare centre and the daily photo journal is a excellent way for me to check-in and continue the discovering at home. My little one has been attending since September 2019, and in that time, we have seen his self‑assurance and personality grow.
