Outstanding childcare centre, team are very welcoming and supportive, my daughter has only just recently started and she has settled in perfectly, has already formed relationships with team members and other kids.

She made some lovely friends and I loved watching her self‑assurance grow and skills that have helped her so much in adapting to school life and being independent. We use the holiday club in the half term and she is also excited to see her friends and the team. My daughter first came here at 10 months old until she commenced school in September.

I couldn’t wish for nicer people to look after my son. It’s a lovely setting. My son has been going to childcare centre since September and he had a rough start but with the help of everybody there he settled and now wants to live there.

They sense comfortable and secure in the setting with the team. There are lots of activities to choose from and they are spoilt for choice. So far their favourites are the building and construction area and making playdough but each week is a lovely surprise. Cheeky Monkeys is a exceptional childcare centre, enjoyable, secure, lots of discovering experiences and lots to stimulate and engage in a fantastic setting. My kids (6 and 3) come to the creche on a Saturday morning and they adore it, it’s a job to get them to leave.

From the beginning, my son has had some troubles settling in and has been overwhelmed being around so many kids. At first, I was worried that I may have to stop him going due to his behaviour but the ladies persevered with him and he has come on leaps and bounds since being there. Updates has consistently been exceptional with the ladies there and together we have found a excellent routine that works well for him. I can tell that they really care for him as he is consistently so cheerful to go and I can see he has a special bond with them all. They are very understanding of his needs and very supportive to me also. The childcare centre itself has a wide range of different activities and toys for the kids to do and a lovely outside area to playtime in too. They have a great range of different foods, my little boy is a very fussy eater but he has tried new things at childcare centre! I can highly suggest Pine Trees, the ladies there have been absolutely incredible with my son, 3 years old.

The team are compassionate and nurturing while providing secure boundaries for all the kids.
The high standard of playtime-based discovering our son receives has been fantastic to see and we can see him thriving.
Each kid is treated as an individual and it’s a fantastic thing to know my kid is in such a fabulous setting that’s become a home from home. We are lucky to have such a excellent facility to use. We couldn’t be happier with the incredible level of care our son has received at the childcare centre.

He enjoys painting, drawing, water playtime, sand and the outside playtime area, he has also brought cakes home that they have made that day. I have really noticed his speech has come a long way since he started and showing more interest in books and song time which is incredible! I really suggest this childcare centre! We have already had our first parent’s evening which was lovely as we get to see how he’s doing and meet more team members. Really pleased we chose this childcare centre! My little boy has been going to Welcome Nurseries since the beginning of January, the ladies are all so lovely and so patient, compassionate and attentive as my little one has trouble saying goodbye to us in the morning (he soon settles).

Initially, I had mixed feelings when I visited the childcare centre. The ladies were lovely but it didn’t look or sense too appealing. I challenged the menu and overall look and sense of the childcare centre. The manager met my challenges head-on and even sent out a menu preference to all the parents. On day one, the team were able to encourage my baby daughter to nap on a sleep mat as opposed to her pram (which was literally the only place she would nap in the day), and she’s been terrific with her ever since. My kid literally says ‘whoop whoop’ as soon as we arrive.
Since the manager took over, the childcare centre has transformed, it’s so spotless, the menu is healthy and varied, the outside and inside space is inviting and most importantly, the setting is spotless, secure and enjoyable. The team are incredibly welcoming and my daughter just loves it! Having relocated to Essex last summer, we had the painful task of finding a new childcare centre that would meet the high level of care received at our last setting.

The Essex is a attentive setting that shows my kids warmth and compassion and they have both developed so much in the time they have been there. It feels like a home away from home and they both leave so cheerful.
The team are consistently engaging and provide handovers that are full of detail about each of my kids’s days.
Thank you so much to the fantastic team for looking after my boys and giving them a world full of enjoyable and adventure! Both my kids attend The Essex, one in preschool and the other in toddlers and for me, as a mother, it is important that my kids are cared for as I would care for them.

Cheeky Monkeys is there whenever I need them and has been for years. They have done school runs for me, holiday clubs, day sessions and even looked after my older two when giving birth to my youngest. The team are fab and the manager is incredible. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone. I have a little boy who is five and girl who is three and a baby which is one.
