Footprints Day Nursery

The team are incredibly welcoming and well‑informed, and they consistently take the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns. One of the things that stand out to me is the outdoor playtime area. It is spacious and has plenty of equipment for my kids to delight in; meaning my kids get plenty of fresh air and exercise while at the childcare centre. The team truly care about each kid and go above and beyond to ensure that their individual needs are met. I sense reassured knowing that my kids are in such capable and attentive hands. I am also impressed by the focus on discovering and development at Footprints. The team provide a range of activities and experiences that encourage my kids to explore and learn. I adore seeing the development my kids make at Footprints. I am so grateful to have found such a fantastic place for my kids to grow and thrive. From the moment I first visited Footprints, I knew it was the right place for my kids.

The team are exceptional and the little things like free breakfast just take so much pressure off us in the morning. The snacks at the end of the day are also exceptional, they have started taking the kids out to do things again – exceptional keep it up. We were worried when the childcare centre was taken over, but we couldn’t be more wrong they have brought a new lease of life to the place and my daughter loves it.

As soon as we pulled up outside we knew this was the right setting for us. We adore the outdoor playtime areas, we like they are all split into age-appropriate areas so the older kids are not running around with the younger kids – with these divided spaces it means all kids can be out at the same time and no time slots for outdoor playtime. We were sad to see two members of the team leave and were a little unsure about the change but we can honestly say we are really cheerful with the changes made. All the team are lovely and our little girl loves childcare centre, her discovering and development grow every day. We absolutely adore Footprints – after looking at 3 other nurseries and 3 childminders and being first-time parents leaving our little one was a big deal.

We anticipated some difficult times when she first started but were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our daughter integrated, and I think this is mainly due to the outstanding team and general atmosphere that they create. We looked around several nurseries before choosing Footprints and we sense confident that we have made the correct decision. We sense they listen to any concerns we have and have been proactive in helping assistance our daughter’s development. Our daughter has been going to Footprints for around 5 months and we are very cheerful with how she has settled in and the quality of care and assistance provided.

Team seem to know each kid by name, regardless of which room the kid is in. My daughter loves going to childcare centre and having the opportunity to take part in varied activities. At childcare centre, she is able and encouraged to express herself and learn new things. I would suggest Footprints Childcare centre to anyone having seen how cheerful my daughter is there. I drop her there, confident that she is in very secure and attentive hands. The team at Footprints are all very welcoming and expert and take a real interest in the kids.

All the team are so supportive and welcoming. I cannot fault anything with this childcare centre. There is consistently a team member on hand to talk to you about any thing. My daughter has come along in such strengths being at childcare centre.

She started during the pandemic and since day one has adored her time there. She’s thrived in all aspects, and the team are welcoming, expert, and most of all so attentive to our daughter. She eats a great diet and really enjoys her meals which are cooked onsite, by the lovely chef. Thanks all for taking such great care of our daughter. She has so much enjoyable and is consistently coming home with new songs, games, knowledge and outstanding manners. This is all down to you guys, so thank you. My daughter has attended Footprints Day Childcare centre since being 9 months old.

My previous kid came here under the old owners and I was cheerful with it in its existing format. Since the new take over I’m even more impressed.
The team are compassionate and very conscientious, my daughter’s key worker and other childcare workers are lovely and she is cheerful at childcare centre which makes me sense so much when dropping her off.
Her initial start at the childcare centre was tough on her but the manager and key worker really helped her to acclimatise slowly gradually increasing her hours spent in the childcare centre. A tough few weeks were made significantly easier because of the team and I’ll consistently be grateful for the extra care they put in place!
My daughter loves coming to footprints and I’m extremely cheerful with her care. It makes full-time work far more doable knowing my kid is cheerful I’m hoping they will introduce an app soon, so I can keep in touch throughout the day I’ve been impressed with all areas of footprints.

I’m very cheerful, and my son is very cheerful at Footprints. I would still suggest it to anyone that is looking for childcare! On hearing the news that Footprints had been taken over, I was unbelievably worried about the changes that were going to be made, and I can honestly say I didn’t need to worry – changes have been made but seem to be positive.

The team are just the best and so supportive and they communicate efficiently with parents. If you have any worries then they will work with you. My daughter is not the youngest in the baby room at nine months and absolutely thrives and loves coming in to see everyone. I especially adore the fact that they get the kids outside as much as possible with the lovely garden they have. This has helped teach my son to get dressed independently. The times are excellent and we picked this childcare centre because it was close to us for work being in the centre of Chelmsford. I wish I could pick it up and take it nearer to where I live. In December 2022 they even had a little nativity for the pre-school room which all the team had put so much effort into and being in the church meant that parents could attend to see the playtime. I can’t suggest it enough! I now have two kids in Footprints, my son is in the pre-school room and has been with this childcare centre since September 2020 when they were in the depths of Covid.

The team at Footprints create a inviting and welcoming setting, which consistently leaves me confident and cheerful to leave my son there. In every room, the team have provided outstanding care with really well thought-out activities and experiences. It’s clear the team put a lot of thought and effort into making every day an exciting discovering journey for the kids.

He is consistently discovering and developing during his time at childcare centre and is consistently excited to go. My son has built a really strong bond with the whole team at Footprints, and I trust them implicitly with his care and development. Thank you so much Footprints and we look forward to our girls having the same incredible journey. I can’t rate Footprint Day Childcare centre highly enough.

They were remarkable whilst our son was there and we only moved to be closer to home.
If it were my choice I would not have changed and really miss the place. Would not hesitate to go back. This is a remarkable childcare centre, but what elevates it from others is the team, they really do care, as do the managers.

The team are excellent an I consistently sense at ease leaving my son in their care. I am gutted that he will be leaving this year to attend primary school but looking forward to my daughter coming here when she is 2! My son started attending footprints in June 2013 an since then he has come on in leaps and bounds!

As a parent of a kid who used to attend the childcare centre, it is remarkable that Footprints Day Childcare centre provides a holiday club as I do not have the stress of leaving him in unfamiliar surroundings with team/kids he doesn’t know. He gets to meet up with old childcare centre friends and loves seeing his old childcare centre nurses’ again. His day is full of enjoyable and he would have loved to have been booked in for the whole week and is already asking when he can go back. The team work very hard on a theme for each holiday to make it different every time a kid visits. The activities are varied and trips out are also organised. It is very great value for money. Top marks Footprints Day Childcare centre. My son is now at school but comes back to use the holiday provision on a regular basis.

It has a lovely atmosphere and is very welcoming. My daughter started Footprints in September 2015 (just over 2 years old), with a couple of weeks of tears from my daughter and myself! I was reassured all the time and could contact the childcare centre at any time. She settled in very quickly and thoroughly enjoys herself. Her social skills, knowledge and self‑assurance have expanded since attending childcare centre and I am very cheerful of her development. All the team are welcoming and supportive, they all have a lovely bond with the kids. I look forward to the next couple of years of my daughter being here. After looking around a few nurseries in the surrounding area, this is the one I chose.

It has a welcoming inviting sense to it- the rooms are all bright and inviting and the team are welcoming. I was very nervous about leaving my year old baby at childcare centre to go back to work but from the settling in sessions I knew she would be well cared for. She loves childcare centre! The team are remarkable and really care about her. The activities are consistently stimulating and food outstanding. I would definitely suggest Footprints to others! Footprints is a remarkable childcare centre.

Team are consistently welcoming, and expert and consistently dealt with any queries I’ve had straight away. Consistently have new and enjoyable activities going on and consistently make a fuss of her. Highly suggest it. I can go to work confidently knowing she is cheerful and cared for.
