Footprints Day Nursery

My daughter has come along in such strengths being at nursery. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. I cannot fault anything with this nursery. There is always a staff member on hand to talk to you about any thing.

Our children have attended Footprints for almost 5 years now. It’s the first nursery We looked at and the only one we found with a exceptional provision of care for our children.
The nurture this nursery provides is fantastic. They encourage children to be individual while teaching them essential skills required to ready them for school. Our eldest left footprints already able to read.
We would not hesitate in recommending this nursery. The staff have excellent skills, patience and are so caring towards the children and parents. It can be stressful to leave your child at nursery distressed. If this happens I get a message during the morning to let me know all is well – that to me as a working mum is priceless.
We loved this nursery from day one. It’s calm and above all the people were lovely. It has grown and developed under the management into such a superb Early Years setting which is giving our little ones the best care and start in their education journey.

Footprints is a fantastic nursery. It has a welcoming warm feel to it- the rooms are all bright and warm and the staff are friendly. I was very nervous about leaving my year old baby at nursery to go back to work but from the settling in sessions I knew she would be well cared for. She loves nursery! The staff are fantastic and really care about her. The activities are always stimulating and food excellent. I would definitely recommend Footprints to others!

My son is now at school but comes back to use the holiday provision on a regular basis. As a parent of a child who used to attend the nursery, it is fantastic that Footprints Day Nursery provides a holiday club as I do not have the stress of leaving him in unfamiliar surroundings with staff/children he doesn’t know. He gets to meet up with old nursery friends and loves seeing his old nursery nurses’ again. His day is full of fun and he would have loved to have been booked in for the whole week and is already asking when he can go back. The staff work very hard on a theme for each holiday to make it different every time a child visits. The activities are varied and trips out are also organised. It is very good value for money. My son started attending footprints in June 2013 an since then he has come on in leaps and bounds! The staff are great an I always feel at ease leaving my son in their care. I am gutted that he will be leaving this year to attend primary school but looking forward to my daughter coming here when she is 2!

Have had our little girl here since she was one, now she’s four. She has loved almost every minute but on the rare occasions that she’s had a little “crisis” the staff have been brilliant with her and helped her out.
She’s now a confident, sparky, caring, funny wee character who chats constantly. A lot of that is down to the input from the staff at Footprints so can’t give it a better recommendation than that really!

My son has attended this nursery for 2 years nearly and I could not praise the staff enough! Ever since starting he’s come on so well and that’s all down to Footprints! Brilliant friendly staff always giving 100% into the kids. Wide variety of menu even for the fussiest eaters! I loved the pre school nativity my son recently took part in, So well put together and the kids really enjoyed themselves. It puts me at such ease seeing how happy all the children are especially mine and how he looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends. I’m really going to be sad for him to leave for school in September. The Managers do a phenomenal job with this nursery and their staff. Don’t ever change! Xx

Our daughter has been going to Footprints for around 5 months and we are very happy with how she has settled in and the quality of care and support provided. We anticipated some difficult times when she first started but were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our daughter integrated, and I think this is mainly due to the excellent staff and general atmosphere that they create. We looked around several nurseries before choosing Footprints and we feel confident that we have made the correct decision. We feel they listen to any concerns we have and have been proactive in helping support our daughter’s development.

Wonderful staff, from the reception, manager and especially the staff who take care of and teach my daughter. I just have to thank all the support, love and dedication with our daughter, she has developed a lot.

I now have two children in Footprints, my son is in the pre-school room and has been with this nursery since September 2020 when they were in the depths of Covid. The staff are just the best and so supportive and they communicate efficiently with parents. If you have any worries then they will work with you. My daughter is not the youngest in the baby room at nine months and absolutely thrives and loves coming in to see everyone. I especially love the fact that they get the children outside as much as possible with the lovely garden they have. This has helped teach my son to get dressed independently. The times are great and we picked this nursery because it was close to us for work being in the centre of Chelmsford. I wish I could pick it up and take it nearer to where I live. In December 2022 they even had a little nativity for the pre-school room which all the staff had put so much effort into and being in the church meant that parents could attend to see the play. I can’t recommend it enough!

My daughter has attended Footprints Day Nursery since being 9 months old. She started during the pandemic and since day one has adored her time there. She’s thrived in all aspects, and the staff are friendly, professional, and most of all so caring to our daughter. She eats a good diet and really enjoys her meals which are cooked onsite, by the lovely chef. Thanks all for taking such good care of our daughter. She has so much fun and is always coming home with new songs, games, knowledge and excellent manners. This is all down to you guys, so thank you.

We absolutely love Footprints – after looking at 3 other nurseries and 3 childminders and being first-time parents leaving our little one was a big deal. As soon as we pulled up outside we knew this was the right setting for us. We love the outdoor play areas, we like they are all split into age-appropriate areas so the older children are not running around with the younger children – with these divided spaces it means all children can be out at the same time and no time slots for outdoor play. We were sad to see two members of the team leave and were a little unsure about the change but we can honestly say we are really happy with the changes made. All the staff are lovely and our little girl loves nursery, her learning and development grow every day.

My daughter started at Footprints back in January, I was really nervous about her starting as I had just had another baby so hated the thought of leaving her, but footprints made her feel so welcome and are an amazing nursery and my daughter loves going and having so much fun. She always says when I pick her up shes had fun today.

Her speech has also come on so well even more since starting that nursery and shes learnt so much being there, always coming home singing and dancing. I would highly recommend footprints and all there lovely and friendly staff. I will sure be sending my son to the same place.

My Daughter loves this pre-school. The attention she is given is amazing. The activities the staff do with the children are so imaginative and different. My daughter settled in at this pre school straight away such a warm welcome feel to the nursery. Nothing is too much trouble.

We were worried when the nursery was taken over, but we couldn’t be more wrong they have brought a new lease of life to the place and my daughter loves it. The staff are brilliant and the little things like free breakfast just take so much pressure off us in the morning. The snacks at the end of the day are also brilliant, they have started taking the kids out to do things again – brilliant keep it up.

Both of my children have been attending Footprints for just over 18 months and it was the best decision we have made for our boys. The nursery provides so many opportunities for the children to learn and grow. Best nursery by far around Atherton. All the staff and management team are brilliant.

On hearing the news that Footprints had been taken over, I was unbelievably worried about the changes that were going to be made, and I can honestly say I didn’t need to worry – changes have been made but seem to be positive. I’m very happy, and my son is very happy at Footprints. I would still recommend it to anyone that is looking for childcare!
