High House Nursery

My daughter absolutely loves it at High House! The staff team are very professional and warm and know exactly what they are doing. My daughter goes into nursery every day without any issues and has developed so well. I could not recommend more.

My daughter has been at High House for 2 years and the changes have been positive and they are all working hard through this difficult time. We like the new parents’ app as it makes us more aware of what our daughter has been doing.

Our daughter has been attending High House for 1 year now, the nursery is amazing and our daughter loves going to nursery. She loves the variety of food she is offered during the day, and we know exactly what she has eaten.
The nursery has the most adventurous outdoor space and our daughter enjoys spending time in the forest garden, with the team.
The nursery was recently taken over and although at the beginning this was a difficult time for all, we have definitely seen some benefits, the manager and the team continue to do an amazing job every day to keep our little one safe is such a difficult time.

High House is an exceptional environment for children and babies. Both my boys attend and absolutely love it. Since starting (aged 2 and 3) they have thrived. It is such a wonderful feeling to feel so assured that they are loved and cherished in this environment, and leave them with total peace of mind. The care is personalised and my boys skip in each day. They have made lovely friends and highly recommend to anyone looking for an early years setting.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was around four months old and we can honestly say she absolutely loves it. We are so impressed with all the staff and how they are helping our little one develop even further. All daily communications are extremely professional and the app they use is very helpful. Would recommend this nursery!

Been downgraded to “Requires Improvement” by Ofsted despite what the manager’s email signature says. The place is a shambles at the moment.
Staff are leaving. I’ve been told their morale is very low. The communication from the management is dreadful. Decision-making is terrible.
My son was sent out in the cold without his jacket but some random child’s thin rain mac onesie.
Some of the meals my vegetarian son has been given have either contained meat or “potato and vegetables”.
I’m pretty sure most parents are looking to move their kids away from this nursery. It’s that bad.

Our daughter really enjoys the days she’s at High House Nursery. The staff are incredibly friendly and the conditions are very clean (considering a lot of children are constantly playing with toys and enjoying themselves).
Recently, all parents are kept in the loop with notice boards and regular updates on what the children will be learning on the day/week they attend the nursery, including what food is on the menu for the week!
We have never had to force our daughter to attend as she really looks forward to seeing her friends, interacting with the staff and really enjoying herself at High House Nursery.

My son attends this nursery and the staff have a naturally caring nature when it comes to settling children. It feels me with such confidence in the staff when I ask my son how his day at nursery has been he’s able to recall some wonderful activities he’s done and tells me how much he enjoys going to his nursery now. As a working parent, I feel very much involved in what’s going on in my son’s nursery with stay-and-play sessions for parents to attend and updates on social media.

The barn has come a long way with their room leader, she ensures the children are provided with fun and educational activities every day and has the greatest sense of imagination I’ve come across yet!
Staff are a great assest to the nursery, they communicate tremendously, being able to listen, empathise, provide support and take action to any issues raised.
I feel reassured when my daughter is in their care.
