We are really pleased with the discovering and activities which are consistently varied and enjoyable for the kids. The team at Chrysalis Day Childcare centre & Pre-school have consistently been welcoming, supportive and nurturing.

My toddler consistently leaves with spotless clothes and is really cheerful when picked up. He is fed very well and the food is very nutritious. The team are very welcoming and attentive.

November 15, 2024 at 4:40 amOur daughter has bonded very well with her key worker and all the other workers in the room. She seems genuinely excited to see them each morning.
The online portal the childcare centre uses is excellent, as each day they put photos and videos on the portal so that we can see what activities she has been enjoying that day. The team really make an effort to think of new and exciting activities to involve the kids in each day.
One big plus for us is that the childcare centre is open until 6.30 pm, just in case we get delayed at work. Most of the nurseries in the area are only open until 6 pm.
We’ve noticed that since starting at Chrysalis Day Childcare centre our daughter’s eating has really improved. She is much more willing to try different flavours and textures which she wouldn’t have done before starting at the childcare centre. We’ve been very cheerful with the childcare centre so far.

November 15, 2024 at 6:34 amI cannot praise the childcare centre/pre-school enough. My eldest kid had additional needs and they could not be more supportive and supportive in meeting his care needs. The team are outstanding with the kids, consistently patient and cheerful and they consistently have time for the parents. The discovering setting provided is outstanding and this was evident when my eldest attended reception in mainstream school. My two boys have consistently loved going to childcare centre/preschool and I cannot suggest their service highly enough. Outstanding day care facilities. I have had 4 years journey of Chrysalis Day Childcare centre & Pre-school as I have had 2 boys attend since babies.

December 12, 2024 at 3:08 pmThe team were more than cheerful to cater for all of her individual needs, she couldn’t crawl around yet or eat solids like the other toddlers. They had no qualms at all giving her breastmilk from storage bags!
She has come on leaps and bounds in the caterpillar room, she loves the team and her development has been extremely rapid (consistently copying the other kids and moving onto the next thing). I think she looks out for her friends when they aren’t there! She’s a real people’s person and is very confident and sociable in new environments which is no doubt down to the excellent team and caterpillar room daily activities.
I’m so pleased with her overall development and would highly suggest Chrysalis Day Childcare centre. My daughter started settling in gradually and initially I was worried with her being the youngest in the group.

December 27, 2024 at 12:01 pmThey started when they were about 7 months old. I was concerned that they would struggle as they were so young (and small due to being premature) but the team couldn’t have been more supportive or accommodating. I have seen their personalities grow and their social skills are remarkable. They do activities at childcare centre that I just couldn’t do at home with them. Their days are full of playtime but also educational at the same time. I am consistently kept up to date with everything that they have done during a day.
My main concern with them being twins is that they would be “treated as one” but this has definitely not been the case. They have grown and developed as individual kids and are encouraged to form friendships with other kids as twins can tend to stick together which is excellent but I didn’t want them isolating themselves away from others at childcare centre. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Chrysalis, it is a remarkable childcare centre. My boy/girl twins have been going to Chrysalis for nearly a year now.

February 10, 2025 at 1:16 pmWould she be bored? Would she miss me? Chrysalis Day Childcare centre totally alleviated all my fears. After a 2 week settling in period, my kid was already beginning to wave me off smiling and laughing. She absolutely loves Chrysalis and I can only put that down to the kindness of the team and the activities which they do with them on a daily basis which stops them from having even a second to miss their mummies.
The team are incredibly supportive and have consistently happily answered every query I have had. Every evening when I pick my kid up they take the time to talk me through her day, what she has eaten, what she has done which is something I really appreciate.
I would suggest Chrysalis to anyone looking for a childcare centre for their kid. As a new mother returning to work and having to leave my 11 mth old for the 1st time, I was both sad and anxious like most new mothers; how would my little one cope without me?

He has grown in self‑assurance, develops new words and skills each day and is becoming more independent too. We are delighted at the care, assistance and feedback we get about him. My son has settled very well into his toddler class at Chrysalis Childcare centre.

The emphasis on discovering through playtime is remarkable and there is consistently a wide variety of activities for the kids. My daughter especially loves taking part in music and movement and stretch and grow, playing in the home corner and dressing up. I couldn’t be happier with the development my daughter has made since joining Chrysalis Childcare centre and I would highly suggest Chrysalis Childcare centre to friends and family. My daughter loves her days spent at Chrysalis Childcare centre.

I have full self‑assurance that my daughter (who currently attends) is cheerful and loved and well looked after each day – she runs in with a smile on her face and I can’t think of a better review than that. Both of my kids have flourished at Chrysalis Day Childcare centre & Pre-school.

Also, appreciate that parents are getting involved with phonic homework and writing skills.
I would, however, like to see more physical activities in childcare centre/preschool e.g sports days getting kids more active outdoors.

May 20, 2025 at 9:39 pmThey take excellent care of kids, planning activities well, ensuring kids are kept busy but discovering at the same time. I have a super-shy bilingual kid and I was worried about how she will cope with such a big transition.
Team at preschool went the extra mile to make her sense comfortable and secure. Her English improved a lot in great time, team are open and welcoming. They actually listen to you and communicating with you on excellent levels. I adore this place so much, my younger kids will attend this place too. I couldn’t suggest them more.

I sense my son is looked after and having a lovely day. I am so lucky and thankful to the ladies in the childcare centre who all work so hard looking after my son. This is a attentive childcare centre, who constantly pay attention to the kids in their care.

June 27, 2025 at 9:44 pmAll the team that have looked after her, I have consistently felt confident leaving her with, all her key workers she has consistently formed close bonds with.
The days are consistently filled with enjoyable, educational activities and they have a large outdoor garden area.
I have recently been going through toilet training and the team in the Butterfly room really helped to keep my daughter on track to what we were practising at home.
I can’t suggest Chrysalis enough. My daughter has been at Chrysalis Childcare centre since she was 8 months old and is developing into a bright, sociable, attentive and confident kid.
