As a first time mum, to an IVF baby, I’m extremely anxious, but the childcare centre app means I’m updated throughout the day with what he eats, when he sleeps, his nappy changes, and the ladies even update me with photos of what he’s up to. There is excellent updates from the childcare centre, meaning I can consistently settle into my own work knowing he’s taken care of. There are monthly reviews of his development and assistance in areas that we sense will benefit our babies development. An extensive introduction meant we could tell the team all about his likes and dislikes, and they contact us regularly for updates on his interests so they can incorporate that into his playtime. The team and manager are extremely compassionate and attentive; you can certainly see the journey the manager has and the thought that goes into everything. After some strategically planned settle sessions, our Covid baby (15-months), that hadn’t been left in the care of others before, started waiting by the door ready to leave for childcare centre by week three!

Our daughter is consistently very excited to go to childcare centre and see her ‘lots of friends’, the educators are also included as her friends, and when she does role playtime at home, they are often mentioned as she is so fond of them.
The interaction on the app about our daughter’s development and daily photos are consistently excellent to receive as we can see how much she’s doing and discovering.
The food is a big hit, with most meals saying she’s eaten all or all+, and I like how healthy they are with them being homemade.
Very cheerful with how welcoming, welcoming and enjoyable the childcare centre is, and our two and a half-year-old daughter loves it!

I also received photos of her making new friends and playing, which is so lovely to be able to see for myself. As a working Mum, this gave me so much relief getting these through the app while working. The team are all lovely and show so much nurture to my daughter already within her first time in the setting. The updates between the team and myself have been very positive and responses are very quick. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone; there is no better feeling than knowing your kid is in secure hands. My daughter had her first settling in session at Stepping Stones, and I was updated throughout the day on when she was changed and how much she had eaten.

All team have been very compassionate and have helped my kid settle into the childcare centre. The team are very welcoming and very involved in the kids’s activities.
I am very cheerful that they go out in the garden every day, which is very important.
The food is healthy, and it is different from day to day; it is very important to provide healthy food to kids.
I highly suggest this childcare centre. My son is very cheerful to go to this childcare centre.

The team are welcoming. The kids’s meals are excellent and prepared onsite. It’s great they use the app to keep us updated on our kid development. Just lately, my kid would have a change of clothes and not be told why! All injuries are recorded. all naps recorded, all nappy changes record. On the whole, I would suggest it. The childcare centre is a great place on the whole.

Our 1-year-old girl entered shy and crying in February 2021 with the pandemic in full swing, but the team was able to introduce her, and she started to quickly adore it.
After one year of attendance, we cannot complain about a thing: great facilities indoors with a cosy garden as well, great fostering setting with sings language, and recently introducing different languages (incredible for us as we are a trilingual family). Constant contact with the family sharing interests and development, as well as 2/3 daily pictures in the app (so we can stop wondering how she is doing there).
Now the transition period to the older kids is very attentive to our girl’s interests and attitude, letting her choose for now where she wants to pass the day (younger or older kids) and planning with us the transition.
Great attention to the setting as well (with the usage of reusable nappies) and pandemic rules. Our journey in the Stepping Stones Day Childcare centre could not be better.

My daughter is in her second year there, and they have helped her learn, flourish, grow and gain self‑assurance. Every kid is treated like an individual, and their individual needs are consistently met. Updates is outstanding, and the whole team are fantastic human beings. Handing over your kid to strangers is the hardest thing – but there’s no one else I would trust more! Stepping Stones is the most fantastic setting, and I cannot rate it highly enough.

She’s a very clingy kid, and I told the childcare centre about that and when she first started, we came up with a plan to get her straight in to minimise the upset, and the team are so fantastic and attentive and so welcoming. My daughter has been there just short of a month and has settled very well and very quickly; she consistently comes out with a smile on her face and tells me everything she does. They range from drawing and painting to sticking and glueing, reading books, playing with shakers, playing in the garden in the sandpit and playing with puzzles. She has really come out of her shell since being there. I get updates throughout the day of what she’s been doing when her nappy was changed and what she has to eat. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My 2-year-old daughter started in the April term and absolutely loves it.

The kids are encouraged to choose what activities they’d like to do during the day, and the team are there to assistance them. The kids consistently take part in a variety of activities and often things we’d never think of doing at home, which is excellent to see. They spend a lot of time outside, and I rated this as four because although it’s a excellent space, it isn’t huge.
There is also a remarkable menu for the kids, and our son eats lots of different cuisines!
We get updates via an app on what our son is doing throughout the day and what he eats, we can also upload activities we do at home.
The team we are in contact with regularly are fantastic and responsive when we contact them. We have been really pleased with Stepping Stones since we moved our son to the childcare centre post the first lockdown.

He began non-verbal and very clingy, and I was very nervous about leaving him and how he would settle. Within three months, his vocabulary is incredible, he has solid friendships and has made real bonds with the team! All of this is because of the team and their determination to ensure the kids are settled.

The ethos of the childcare centre is also highly important. It’s very kid-led and teaches the kids to become independent and able.
The kids delight in a variety of activities and delight in the garden each day. They are provided with healthy balanced meals, and as a mother of a kid with several allergies, they cater to this brilliantly!
I can’t thank the team enough for ensuring my kid is cheerful to come in and cheerful when he leaves as well as encouraging him to try new things and to explore! Thank you, ladies! My son has attended this childcare centre for several months.

Stepping Stone’s hadn’t been open very long. I booked a visit to go and see the childcare centre. The manager greeted me, I stepped inside and immediately fell in adore. The childcare centre, of course, was immaculate. The manager was outstanding at understanding my needs and worries as I had already had a bad journey at a previous childcare centre. So, I was feeling very nervous. Anyway, almost two years on, I have one extremely sociable, attentive little boy. The girls at Stepping Stones are all incredible. My son’s speech is very great. The girls consistently keeping me up to date with my little boy’s development. They go above and beyond to suit your needs. Whatever you need, they do their utmost to make sure they help you to the best of their ability. Thank God I found this place. I suggest anybody to send their kid here. The manager is an outstanding, owner and the team she employs are second to none. Thank you to everybody at Stepping Stones. After a bad journey at one childcare centre, by some luck, I stumbled across this goldmine.

One of our daughters was initially really struggling with all-new environments, people and was quite behind with her updates skills and engagement. But with lots of special care and attention from the fantastic team at Stepping Stones, she has really turned a corner and is like a new baby. Engagement and updates from team are remarkable, and we receive regular updates and images throughout the day. The childcare centre also runs lots of fantastic discovering initiatives throughout the year, including discovering sign language. Our girls adore the team at Stepping Stones, and they have come on so well since they have been attending the childcare centre.

My kid is well looked after and excited to tell me about her day. The ethos of the setting is continuously adhered to throughout all early years practices, placing value with each kid. It has strong updates with building parent partnerships which are by continuously keeping me updated on what my kid is doing and how she is developing. My daughter has an incredible bond with the team, each bond being different but being sharing one commonality, that my daughter loves them all. They are a considerate and attentive team who consistently position the kid at the centre of discovering, acting as facilitators to the kid’s discovering by encouragement and assisting with skills that are not fully secured yet. Overall, this is an outstanding childcare centre and I am incredibly grateful for all the hard work the team put in to make it an incredible setting. Stepping Stones Day Childcare centre & Preschool has created an impressive setting!
