Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Crocus Early Years Centre

He has spent the last year there. I can not suggest this childcare centre enough, everyone is so lovely and supportive, consistently there when you need them. It’s been a tough year for little ones and they made it sense somewhere they can still go and have enjoyable, my little boy used to count down the days till he went back. My little boy has just left Bright Horizon Saffron Walden.

The team are all so welcoming and put up with me phoning daily when she first started, just for me to hear that she was cheerful and doing well. She especially loves playing outside and is getting so confident in all the skills she’s discovering. We get daily feedback on how her day was, what she played with, what she ate and nappy changes. I walk away each morning knowing I can trust that they’ll nurture my baby. My little one absolutely loves it at this childcare centre, when I ask her in the mornings if she’s ready to go to childcare centre she runs to put her shoes on.

Our son started the childcare centre in August 2020, he has settled in really well and we are really delighted with his development. The team have been absolutely exceptional in helping to learn and develop new skills and most importantly encouraging him with social interaction. He hasn’t been around other kids before and for him to say he enjoys going and playing with the other kids listing off their names he has played with is so comforting for us. We can’t thank the Pre-school team enough because they are consistently welcoming, polite and communicates with us regularly especially if we have any queries. They go the extra mile. We chose Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Crocus Early Years as it is local for us but also highly recommended by friends.

Incredible Childcare centre! Incredible Team!
My little one has been going to the childcare centre for over a year now. Absolutely loves every minute of it! Very cheerful and settled, whilst encouraged to build solid relationships with team and other kids.
My little ones’ capability and discovering has excided considerably due to the activities and time the team have dedicated, whilst also the compassion and empathy that is shown at all times are outstanding. Team are consistently there supporting parents, offering sound advice and knowledge if needed, whilst working with the parent for the benefit of the kid. The flexibility and assistance the team have provided for us, as a family has been truly incredible. We, as a family, appreciate every single one of you and thank you for everything you have provided us with, throughout this past year. Your time, assistance, advice enjoyable and laughter has been utterly exceptional!

You can see from drop off / pick up times how cheerful all the kids at Bright Horizons are, and my daughter thinks of / speaks about her educators almost as her friends. They give close assistance, kindness and encouragement to her and regularly keep us updated via the app on her daily activities/development. I also adore how they empower her, giving her opportunities to take the lead in helping to organise activities, look after her friends, tidy up etc. She is just about to leave for school and is a really cheerful, confident girl. So grateful to the team. I couldn’t speak more highly of the management and entire team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden – every single person that has looked after or interacted with our daughter has been remarkable right through the baby room to preschool (even during the pandemic when despite times being really tough for the team, it was clear that the kids came first consistently).

I found it miles better than another I tried and have been really cheerful with the care of all the team and impressed with the responsiveness of the management when communicating. I was confident both my kids were secure and cheerful when there and team worked hard to ensure they felt as secure and content as possible. I would highly suggest it. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest – I had both my kids in the toddler and preschool room and my youngest in the baby room as well so have been using the childcare centre for a few years.

From the first phone call to one year later we could not be happier, despite the pandemic. I trust all members of team implicitly. They are confident, attentive and enjoyable but all so expert at the same time. They are open and reassuring too. We can go for weeks without needing to speak in detail but some days (like today) if they have a concern they raise it and I know how closely they will monitor my daughter and communicate. It’s a really special team and we’re so lucky to have them. (I should mention the fact that our daughter loves going full time too and is discovering/playing/socialising lots.) Thank you! We are so cheerful our daughter got a place here.

The team have been so supportive with our queries, are really welcoming and communicate regularly with any updates. He runs into the childcare centre every morning and is clearly very cheerful to be there! We couldn’t ask for more. Our son has settled in really well at the childcare centre.

Given the recent challenges of lockdown and the fact he hasn’t been able to socialise as normal, the team have taken the time to integrate him at his own pace and make him sense comfortable and because of this he has settled in brilliantly. My little boy consistently has a lovely time at childcare centre, the team are welcoming, attentive and plan lots of enjoyable activities to stimulate them.

She has settled in really well and all the team have been extremely nice and attentive. We couldn’t have hoped for a better place for our daughter in her early years. She absolutely loves it and has a lot of enjoyable every single day.
We would really suggest this childcare centre. Everything is perfect, the food, the team, the care and the activities. Our daughter started at the childcare centre in August 2020.
