The Chase Nursery Holland-on-Sea

My son joined here in September 2020, and I cannot believe how much he has come along – especially with his speech. I owe it all to the amazing staff at The Chase Nursery. He loves going to the nursery; it’s often the only time he rushes to get out of the house! He loves all of the staff there and always has the best day. I could not recommend this nursery enough!

We couldn’t ask for a better nursery to send our daughter to. The staff are all so committed to ensuring the children have the best time while they are there, the variety of activities they do is brilliant and keeps the children engaged… my daughter comes out of nursery each day with a smile on her face saying, “I’ve had a wonderful day mummy”… not much more I could ask for! All the staff members are extremely approachable and are always available to speak to when needed. My daughter has built fantastic relationships with the staff, which is reassuring as her mum when leaving her there, as I know she is comfortable to be left too. We will all be extremely sad to leave the nursery when my daughter starts primary school, yet they have provided such a good foundation for her to start her school journey, for which we will be forever grateful.

The chase is a wonderful nursery setting. All staff go above and beyond. They’re all so caring and helpful. The setting is immaculate whilst still providing a huge range of stimulating play. My children have shown huge progress in development since starting at the chase. My daughter has suspected special educational needs and a speech delay. The staff have been so helpful with getting the ball rolling for support in school and supporting me as a parent. They’ve been so good at supporting speech too. Hands down the best nursery around.

After seeing the facilities at The Chase Holland, I knew this was going to be the perfect nursery for my daughter. She loves the day’s activities (particularly what’s in the box?) and it’s great that she can spend so much time in the garden safely under different covers. From the big smile on her face at home time, I know she’s had a fantastic day. She has always been fairly advanced for her age but her knowledge and social skills have still come on leaps and bounds during her short time at The Chase. I can’t thank the staff enough for caring for, nurturing and assisting with my daughter’s development at every level.

Superb, personalised training for my child. I feel confident that she is well looked after and that she is cared for. My child’s keyworker is fabulous and has a good base of knowledge about my child and her abilities (even though she only attends one day a week). All in all, a lovely nursery setting for my child to feel confident in, explore different activities and feel cared about, on a personal level.

My little boy loves going. He cannot wait to go see his teachers. All the staff are so kind and friendly, all the time. You won’t find a more loving bunch of people in one place. I cannot rate them highly enough. I feel at peace when he is there because I know he is well looked after and you receive the cutest pictures.

My daughter started the nursery in 2020, this will be her last year there before school. Everyone at the nursery is so kind and caring, I wish we could keep them throughout all of my daughter’s school years.
We’ve always received full handover on pick and we can give full handover on drop off, never feel rushed or an inconvenience. My daughter loves all the staff at The Chase and can’t wait to go to nursery. She always comes out with the biggest smile and loads of things she has made throughout the day.
My daughter has just been diagnosed with additional needs, the nursery has been more than helpful and hands-on supportive of our family and our daughter. We couldn’t ask for more! I have recommended the nursery to friends and family!

My son does not like being away from those close to him. With perseverance and care, he has settled into The Chase. All of the teachers at the nursery are lovely and have a lot of time for him. He always comes out smiling and happy now and has had so much fun.

My daughter recently moved from another local area and her son started at The Chase Holland. He is a shy boy but really liked the nursery. The family have been through a very difficult time so it was very positive that he had settled. My daughter got an email from the manager stating my grandson has lost his place as the funding hasn’t come over from the previous nursery. My daughter had tried to sort this and thought it was down to the previous nursery, she has a lot going on and it was a misunderstanding. I spoke to the manager to explain this but all she said was I told her and had no compassion whatsoever, she didn’t want to know or cared when I said about the family’s situation and how losing his place would affect him. He had only been going since 3rd January so there was not a lot of money owed, I offered to pay but she said it is too late! My grandson is now with no nursery this one was very local to them. Really disappointing over money.

I am overwhelmed by the level of care and hard work of the staff at The Chase Nursery. I thoroughly enjoy dropping off and picking up my granddaughter each week to see the ever-changing environment, where each season is decorated differently in such a creative and welcoming way. Each occasion (e..g Easter, the King’s coronation) is celebrated to ensure the children’s learning and understanding is developed in meaningful ways and the role play areas are constantly changing to the interests of the children. As a former early years teacher, I am proud for my granddaughter to attend there, where I feel assured she is getting the very best start to her learning. Were I to visit there in an Ofsted capacity, I feel I have already observed enough to award it Outstanding.
