April 27, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter currently attends Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Colchester and she loves it there. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting and they work so hard with her to make sure she is getting everything out of her day that she can. One member of staff, in particular, is brilliant!

She has flourished since she joined last year and they have helped and supported me with some big milestones such as potty training and giving up her dummy successfully
She has a lovely relationship with her key workers and has made lots of friends.
The food is great, varied, and healthy and my daughter has tried lots of new foods
They keep parents well-updated on what they have been up to with photos via an app which is really nice to see

April 27, 2022 at 12:00 amMy child loves the nursery. They have a great relationship with all members of staff. I’m always being told of the activities they did during the day and are engaged and excited about them. The only complaint I could have is being told my dinners aren’t as good as nurseries!

April 27, 2022 at 12:00 amOur 4-year-old currently attends and has been here since he was 6 months. One of the things I love about the nursery is that every member of staff knows and loves our son as if he were their own (Even the chef!).
The manager and her fantastic team make you feel like one of the family and I feel I can discuss worries and concerns from home with them to ask for advice (let’s face it, as parents we all need a little help and advice along the way).
My son is due to finish this year and we have a lot to thank Kiddi Caru for, with their help, he can not be more ready for big school!
My son is always coming home telling me a wealth of new things he has learnt and is often upset when it’s the weekend as he can’t go to nursery.
We look forward to my next child joining nursery in the next few months and we are glad that we don’t have to say goodbye to Kiddi Caru just yet.
Overall we can not thank the team enough for what they have done for our family. Wholeheartedly recommended!

September 14, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little one has been going to Kiddi Caru for a good few years and this year she has graduated and now going to big school.
Little one was shy and had no confidence in herself but with the help and support for the Kiddi Caru family, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be a part of my little one’s life.
So, thank you Kiddi Caru Colchester.

September 20, 2022 at 12:00 amThis is the worst Nursery in Colchester. Do not take your child. They do not care about the well-being of your child. I had to pull my son out after 3 months of being there.
1. He came back every day with a wet nappy to the point he developed a rash
2. My son struggled to settle so I changed his schedule from 3 full days to 5 half days and they ended up charging me for the 3 full days and the 5 half days. After numerous emails and arguments, they said they will charge for 1 extra full day. All they care about is money.
3. I came 10 mins late once to pick up my son and they charged me £30 extra for coming late. My son could be out of school for weeks but no one will bother to call about how he’s doing but they are first to include all sorts of extra charges for no reason.
I have never received a response to my emails from Kiddi Caru. Not sure if they’re understaffed or is it that they really just don’t care.
Please don’t take your child to Kiddi Caru!

October 14, 2022 at 12:00 amTo be honest I was very close to pulling my child out. However, some major changes have been made since the last week of September and I can see a lot of effort is being made to change things around. I’m hoping things continue to improve.

Good food options, occasional cold dinners due to kitchen issues. Not able to give children home-prepared meals due to child allergies. Children are permitted extras if still hungry. Just something to be aware of if considering reducing outgoing costs. However, this is one of the cheapest nurseries in the area!
Able to get into nursery in good time. Lots of parking available for parents to use.
Electronic records of child activities are sometimes incomplete i.e. no food entries for the day when the child will of course have eaten.
Been a bit of an issue with progress reports as not had one sent since enrolled six/seven months ago.
My kid loves it here though, I’m really happy with how they look after them and the attention they give.

March 26, 2023 at 12:00 amKiddi Caru has been great with my daughter. She has come on massively since she attended. She has bonded very well with her keyworker.
All the staff have been great. They are helpful and professional and have been really supportive and recognise when additional support is needed.
The nursery offers flexible sessions, which is fantastic.
I would highly recommend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Colchester.

March 29, 2023 at 12:00 amMy little boy loves being at nursery, once he has gotten over the fact we have dropped him off! All the staff are so in tune with his wants and needs, and the favourite things he likes. He does such wonderful activities throughout the day, I love seeing the photos and videos the team members put on the app. Everyone is so friendly when we drop him off, always polite and accommodating. The food he has there is fantastic, homecooked proper meals. It is never nice having the mum guilt of dropping them off when you have to go to work but seeing his smiley happy face, and how the staff all love him, makes it a lot easier.

She absolutely loves it, she has started developing friendships, confidence and her learning is really showing at home! She loves her carers in her class and usually devours all the food that is put in front of her. Such a fantastic nursery.

April 27, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves coming into nursery and always seems happy when I drop her off.
As a family, we love the new app where we can see everything our little one has been up to throughout the day and even see her meals, sleeps and toileting tracked on there.
The teachers in her room always have out exciting new activities for the children to engage in which is lovely to see.
The staff are all very friendly and approachable, whenever I have raised any concerns they have been dealt with straight away.
Overall, a lovely, friendly and welcoming environment for everyone.

My daughter has been attending here since she was just over 12 months old and my son attended before that. Staff are always well quick with a cuddle when my little one is upset and both my children enjoyed attending this nursery. I would happily recommend to others.

They helped him settle in really well at such a young age (four months). He loves being there with them and is coming home a very happy boy!
They make sure he has everything he needs and I can already see great progress at home! Thanks to the team!

August 18, 2023 at 12:00 amGreat nursery! Both of my kids really enjoyed it. Very friendly staff that always take your needs on board and keep you updated about your children’s progress. My little one’s always attending nursery with pleasure, and that’s the most important thing to me as a parent.
