September 12, 2016 at 12:00 amAll three of my children have attended this setting. The staff here have not only cared for my three children but guided and supported us as a family. They are friendly, professional and always very supportive. My older children who are now at school often still speak about their experiences at the college nursery and enjoy going back to visit. I cant imagine having chosen another setting!

September 12, 2016 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending The College Nursery since he was 4 months old, due to both myself and his mother having to work. Putting our baby into nursery at such a young age was a very difficult decision. However, the nursery nurses at The College Nursery take such good care of our son, it made the transition so much easier.
He was a very sicky baby and has health requirements, but they take care of his every need and put our minds at rest. He has developed wonderful bonds with the practitioners and his key person, it’s clear to see that he loves attending nursery. They treat each child as an individual and it is very obvious that all the staff enjoy their jobs.
As parents we are invited into Nursery to join in with our sons learning, to parent consultations, to play in the room and to borrow toys and books from their library.
I cannot recommend this Nursery enough!

September 12, 2016 at 12:00 amThis is my second child attending this nursery. In my opinion, he is very good looked after. The college nursery staff care about his development and I can see him changing every day. The staff are always well prepared. They answer all my queries about my son and how his day been. Also, the nursery manager and staff are very supportive in any way. To me is like my second family. My children were always happy at this nursery.
I recommend it to all my friends.

September 26, 2016 at 12:00 amOverall I’m pleased with the staff and how professional and friendly they are. Even though I did have an issue to whether they are properly staffed, this concern is due to my daughter having dislocated her elbow without any member of staff noticing.

September 26, 2016 at 12:00 amGreat nursery, brilliant experience from day one. Very warm and welcoming staff who keep parents well informed of progress of child. Staff clearly love children and enjoy their jobs caring for children very well. Rooms are light and welcoming and changes made to the layout regularly to keep children interested. Communication between staff and parents has always been great however, the nursery have recently started using online learning journeys which has increased communication and improve home/nursery sharing further.

The staff take a true interest in your child and provide care tailored to their needs. My child has been attending there for the last 2 years and I am extremely happy with his care and I am looking forward to the next year and a half that he has left there.

March 2, 2020 at 12:00 amI was recommended this nursery from my employer who had her own child there and I’m so glad my oldest attended and my daughter is attending at present. She is so happy and excited to go every day and when I collect her she has the biggest smile on her face. The staff are extremely helpful and help with future development questions I have, they are friendly and always present and give great detail to what my child has done that day.
Even when you walk into nursery in the mornings, anyone walking through has a smile and greets you, which I believe makes a great start for the children to see as they start the day ahead. The food menu is excellent and encourages them to eat all different food, the outside play area is a great size for the children and the whole place is clean and smells lovely. I previously visited nurseries for my oldest before he started here in the same area, where your first impression, as you open the door, is a horrible smell which can put you off from the start. I highly recommend.

Two of my kids are here and are both happy. I particularly like the flexibility of the proprietor – always willing to fit things in where possible.
The staff here are all lovely. Everyone welcomes you with a smile and it makes a great difference.
I know my kids are safe here and I have no issues with them here.
Only thing is that I wish I had discovered them much earlier, for my first daughter.

Plenty of different activities for kids and familys. My daughter always eating pudding at nursery but almost never at home. So I think nursery have same magical pudding.

March 5, 2020 at 12:00 amI couldn’t recommend The College Nursery more. The staff are fantastic. They are so supportive not only for my daughter but also for me. They encourage learning that prepares them for school. In addition, both my daughters have learnt so much there regarding literacy and maths and come home full of confidence. If you want a nursery for your children this is the one to chose. The staff are approachable and so so kind.

March 6, 2020 at 12:00 amI can’t recommend the College Nursery enough. Our son really enjoys his days there and has made many friends, both practitioners and children. When we first looked around we absolutely loved how friendly all staff were and how amazing the facilities were. The rooms are large and airy and the garden is huge with so many activities to keep our son busy. The staff always keep us up to date with how our son is progressing and the one to one sessions we have with them always keep us assured that they are doing the best for him. Five stars!

The outdoor area is beautiful, the rooms fresh, probably provides the best amenities than any other nursery in Peterborough. The children love the place and I would recommend it to my family and friends.

October 19, 2022 at 12:00 amAfter looking at a few nurseries around Peterborough, I found out about The College Nursery and never looked back! The staff are all so welcoming and seem to really enjoy their jobs! My son started here at 10 months old until he left for school this year. In the three years, he was here, we never had any problems. He was always well looked after and cared for. They encouraged and really helped him grow into the little boy he is today. The staff here are individually fantastic, you couldn’t really ask for a better bunch. The support they offer children and parents is brilliant. So happy I chose this nursery!

November 30, 2022 at 12:00 amWe moved here a year ago and this was the best year at preschool for our little one. Each day was a day of excitement to spend time with lovely friends and teachers. My little one moved to big school while reading at age 4, we encouraged reading at home and the nursery’s support and little library played a big role in this. Lovely place with the most incredible people. We are super grateful for the experience and look forward to our new arrival joining the nursery and having the same wonderful experience next year.
