St Ives Nursery

He was moved up to the pre toddlers room quite quickly after he started at 16 months old because they felt like that’s what he needed. He has formed incredible relationships with the team and the kids that go there. His speech and compassion for others since starting here has grown massively. He is 22 months and he can almost talk in sentences! He missed childcare centre so much during the lockdown, and he has recently gone back and has settled right back in as if he hasn’t been gone for 2 months. And was so cheerful to see his favourite members of team.
An incredible childcare centre with incredible team, who are consistently really welcoming and cheerful to talk to me about anything and everything! My son started this childcare centre in September 2019, and has loved it every second!

He loves going here and has learned loads since starting a few months ago. Staff are fantastic and consistently let me know what my son has been up to, what he’s eaten, etc.

four. Her entire journey at the childcare centre has been enjoyable and it has been a pleasure to see her grow and develop. The team are excellent and clearly have outstanding knowledge of childcare. My daughter has grown into a well mannered, knowledgable, confident girl and I can’t thank the childcare centre team enough for every part they have played in her development. I would defiantly suggest St Ives Nursery and we will miss it in Sept as she leaves for school. My daughter has attended St Ives Nursery since she was nine months.

Individual needs and preferences are accommodated, and there is a feeling of a comprehensive approach in all aspects of care, playtime, discovering and development. The rooms and spaces are carefully decorated with nature motives, over the world landscapes and people. Toys and activities are consistently exciting. Food is freshly prepared on the spot and there is involvement from the older ones in helping out. Autonomy, talking and handling emotions is encouraged. My little one in the baby room has been very cheerful in the childcare centre since the beginning and we could not be more pleased. St Ives Nursery is a excellent place for little ones to be taken care of, have enjoyable, delight in and learn.

The team have consistently been very supportive, well‑informed and supportive. Our son had to take some time off earlier this year for medical reasons and throughout this difficult time for us as a family, the childcare centre have supported wherever possible and have consistently been very understanding. His return to childcare centre has been handled fantastically and he has quickly settled back into childcare centre life and seems to be thriving. Our son started to attend St Ives Nursery in September 2019 and he has loved it from the first second.

It was the same when my elder son was there too. The setting is a home from home, with each room and space utilised well and made interesting for the kids. Staff treat every kid as an individual, getting to know them so well, tailoring behaviour and activities towards the little one’s needs and interests.
We have used this childcare centre for the past five years between my two kids. My eldest is now almost six, but he still lights up when he sees some of the team that used to take care of him.
Staff retention seems great, particularly for the more experienced members of the team. Food is varied, healthy and interesting.
My little boy loves it. Would absolutely suggest St Ives Nursery (and often do) to any of my family and friends. I really don’t have a single negative thing to say about this fantastic childcare centre and the incredible team that look after our kids.
For me, it’s the people who work in this setting that make it so easy for me to drop my son off every day.

The childcare centre team were incredible at contacting me to discuss all my concerns and explain how they’d help accommodate a smooth transition for her. After her initial drop off they sent me photos of her playing about 10 minutes later! She’s been there for over a year now and absolutely loves it and really has taken so well to all the team. You can tell the team genuinely adore their jobs and adore kids and every day you can see the passion they have working with them. They’ve consistently helped accommodate if I need extra days or if I need to swap days around as best as possible. Overall I am so cheerful I chose this childcare centre and would highly suggest it to anyone looking for a childcare centre in or around St Ives. My daughter started childcare centre here when she was about a year and a half and I was so very nervous because she had never been away from me and also didn’t have a dummy or any comforting item to take with her.

My daughter started at the childcare centre when she was 12 months old and has recently left there to start school. Our little boy also attends there in the pre-toddler room.
The level of care they give the kids is exceptional. The team really care about the kids, and it shows. We have consistently felt that the kids are very secure and accidents are dealt with in the right way. The rooms are well equipped and seem spotless. Both kids adore the food there.
It just means the world when your kids are cheerful to attend their setting every day and clearly are flourishing. I can not suggest this childcare centre highly enough.

We were quite nervous about her starting after spending so much time with us at home. However, the team made us sense so comfortable and welcome from the start. She loved her settling in session and instantly bonded with her keyworker and at that point we knew we had made the right choice. She loves going to childcare centre, and the team are consistently so great at communicating to us about how her day has been. My daughter really enjoys the food, and it is excellent to hear all about the activities she takes part in each day. The managers are extremely great at answering queries and we delight in reading the Friday Feedback emails to find out more about the activities she has taken part in. It is lovely to see her grow in self‑assurance. Our daughter started at St Ives Nursery in June just after lockdown.
