September 4, 2024 at 12:47 amI sense often the management ‘looks’ more supportive than it really is. Often emails get unanswered or answered unsatisfactorily and with delay. We think the key worker is really great, but again, it’s difficult to judge when we’ve not even seen the room our son is in. Additionally, things we’d consider common sense aren’t consistently so – putting a short sleeve on when it’s hot etc. It’s difficult to properly evaluate the childcare centre due to the Covid-19 situation.

The team are supportive and updates is very great. The childcare centre has a great system in place for Covid-19 measures. My daughter is so cheerful at the childcare centre.

October 3, 2024 at 7:40 amShe has had a few different key workers as she progressed through the rooms, has consistently spoken positively and frequently about each of them, and is consistently eager to go. From the managerial team to the practitioners, they seem to be a compassionate and genuinely attentive childcare centre. They provide a wealth of information about the activities the kids are doing, continual detailed and meaningful development reports, and at home activities you as a parent can do to assist your kid’s development. We have seen them handle covid, and the response to a fire alarm effectively. This is the only childcare centre our kid has been to, and whilst we don’t have anything to compare against, we don’t think there’s much, if anything, lacking at all. Our daughter has been here for the last 2 years since she was 9 months old.

Staff and management are exceptional, consistently supportive and supportive.
They have a person-centred approach and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
I hope that my younger kid will get a place at Bright Horizons Eddington Day Nursery as well.

October 15, 2024 at 5:13 pmThey have bonded well with the team, who consistently seem genuinely enthusiastic about their development and happiness. We trust them to do everything for our kids (and the others at childcare centre, too) and consistently know that they will have a remarkable time. Any queries have consistently been dealt with efficiently and updates has been outstanding. They have coped wonderfully with the challenges of the pandemic and should be congratulated for their professionalism, hard work and kindness. Our two kids have been very settled from the very first day.

November 4, 2024 at 11:36 pmMy daughter has a excellent relationship with her key person (and co-key person!) and can’t wait to go and playtime with her friends at the childcare centre every morning. It’s lovely to know I’m leaving her in such great hands. The facilities are exceptional, the activities really carefully thought out, and the team at Eddington are absolutely remarkable – so welcoming and attentive and responsible.

November 18, 2024 at 5:04 amHe likes playing with his friends and has a strong bond with the key person and other team. Nursery provides a lot of excellent activities which are important for the development.
The childcare centre building is excellent with large and light rooms. The childcare centre has an onsite chef who cooks fresh food every day with the allergies instruction for each kid.
The management is very welcoming and easily approachable with any questions and queries, big and small.
Huge thanks to the childcare centre manager and all team who keeps the childcare centre a excellent place for our kids to be cheerful, secure, well developed and loved! My son is very cheerful at the childcare centre.

November 22, 2024 at 1:49 amI leave my son every day knowing he’s in the best hands and care. The childcare centre itself is beautiful, secure with risk assessments in place, and managed well. Communication is outstanding, and we as parents are consistently in the loop about updates and feedback. We can’t rank this childcare centre high enough and thank the fantastic team at the Eddington Nursery! The team at Eddington Nursery are truly one of a compassionate.

December 18, 2024 at 5:09 pmWe have been mostly satisfied with the services provided. The kid is most of the time cheerful to come to the childcare centre and has formed meaningful connections with other kids and team. However, one of my concerns in the past half a year was a high frequency of permanent team changing, including the key person changes in the same room for four times. Because of that, we have noticed a higher number of temporary agency workers covering for those roles. And there was some period of time when my kid may have experienced unsettling feelings that could have affected their behaviour, including more frequent wee accidents whilst well potty trained. Also, bear in mind that facilities are excellent and rooms are spacious so they fit quite a large number of kids, which I believe can increase the infections transmission rates and frequency of your kid becoming ill, compared to say a smaller childcare centre group. Though I do prefer spaciousness. My kid has been in Eddington childcare centre since 2019.

January 7, 2025 at 11:28 amGood provision of vegan options specially prepared by an in house chef. The team put a lot of effort into planning activities for the kids and communicating with parents. My son enjoys going to childcare centre each day and we have lovely discussions about his day in the evenings. I particularly delight in the photos and notes that are sometimes sent home. Helps me to sense included. Superb childcare centre led by competent well‑informed and welcoming managers.

January 23, 2025 at 2:36 amThe facilities are outstanding, and the childcare centre team have been very welcoming, helping our daughter to settle in record time (within a couple of days). Despite the COVID-19 limitations, during the last few months, the managers have been clearly communicating with us via weekly emails, our daughter’s key person provided regular developmental updates and was available for discussion whenever we needed. During winter, we were very impressed by the strict infection prevention protocols. Recently, more work was done to connect parents from kids within the same room, via WhatsApp groups, which is really supportive to get to know other families. One of the challenges for this childcare centre is the long community waiting list, and we hope that in the future they will be able to accommodate more families settling within Eddington/close to the childcare centre. Our daughter joined Bright Horizons Eddington in 2021, and so far, we have had a very positive journey overall.

February 10, 2025 at 2:49 amAbove all, we have been very impressed with the team at Bright Horizons and the level of care and the attention they give to our kid’s development and health has been very high. We are satisfied with the facilities and space for our son to be active indoors and outdoors (he is very active!), the creative activities the team organises for his development, the level of updates with us as parents both at the door and on the app and the personal touch and kindness that our kid receives from his keyworker. Our son is very cheerful at Eddington, Bright Horizons and we are as well. Our son has been at Eddington Nursery since August 2022 in the explorer’s room (0-1).

April 25, 2025 at 10:46 pmI didn’t really know what to expect of a childcare centre, the setting, the facilities or the team when we first started looking. After taking a look at a couple, it became very clear that not all nurseries are alike. At Eddington, the team are warm, welcoming and welcoming. The facilities are remarkable – the rooms are bright and airy, with an enclosed courtyard to playtime in. The food seems to be excellent, based on the menu and what my little one tells me she’s eaten during the day. But crucially, she likes it there, and she has from day one. She’s formed a close bond with the two key workers she’s had so far, and they’ve both shown genuine care and nurture. Given what’s been going on with COVID, she’s not been in as often as a precaution and she talks about looking forward to going back. What more can a parent ask for in a childcare centre. My little one is getting on for three and has been attending this childcare centre for nearly two and a half years, part-time.

The team have been outstanding and provided a secure and attentive setting which, for us, is the fundamental pillar of childcare. They have been open to feedback and have responded positively to our requests. We are extremely grateful to them for their efforts. June 14, 2025 at 3:29 amOver the last year, the team have dealt calmly with the unprecedented circumstances of Covid whilst consistently delivering an incredible service and a high degree of professionalism. I’ve been so impressed with the team who are consistently enthusiastic to see my daughter in the morning and from her stories put so much effort into making sure childcare centre is a secure, exciting and enriching place. They’ve handled changing circumstances and procedures seamlessly and have provided my daughter with a lovely dose of normality during Covid.
The facilities are second to none including the on-site kitchen which produces super food for the kids.
I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre. Eddington Bright Horizons is simply the best childcare centre we’ve encountered in our eight years of having our kids in childcare.

June 22, 2025 at 1:42 amI had heard outstanding reviews of Eddington and knew the manager had achieved great Ofsted reports in the past. When I called up I was immediately put at ease. My son started and was clearly one of the youngest but his key worker was and is remarkable, he gets excited to see her every morning and I know picking Eddington was right for him and me. Picking a childcare centre during a pandemic when you can’t even look around is quite challenging.

July 9, 2025 at 12:33 amThe team are extremely welcoming and go above and beyond supporting us as a family. This became especially clear during the pandemic, when the childcare centre stepped up a very robust cleaning and safety protocol, while managing not to change its welcoming and personable atmosphere at all, quite a feature! They know every kid by name and impressively manage to recognise all parents from a distance with their masks and hats on. It is consistently a pleasure to watch our son and his little tribe emerge from the childcare centre with enjoyable stories of the day. Another extra are the special emails they send out on a regular basis which explain the reasoning behind some of the games which can be used at home. The childcare centre also has incredible facilities and is in a excellent location, so it is consistently a nice bonus to be able to hang around and playtime with a few other kids and parents after we pick up the kids. Our son who is nearly three has been at the childcare centre for a year and a half now and we are really cheerful that we have found it.
