Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge is a fun, friendly and engaging place for our daughter and very welcoming to us as parents. The staff are absolutely brilliant so engaged and enthusiastic and know the children so well. We couldn’t be happier with the care and learning for our daughter.

We have really enjoyed the last 10 months with our son at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge. The staff are fantastic, so thoughtful, hardworking and so brilliant with our son. When he started he was very shy and lacked confidence with other children, 10 months on he is a different child! They have helped him so much and he loves the constant activities, baking, group time, trips to the library and of course playing outside. We are delighted with Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge and very impressed with management and consistency of staff. (Our son is in the ‘Pre-School Room’).

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge is a creative and caring environment. The members of staff, as well as the management team, try their best to follow children’s individual learning journey. The outdoor spaces provided the children with the opportunity to engage with a variety of activities while supporting their development. The members of staff are well qualified and support their children with a variety of group or individual activities. Overall a good value for money experience.

Our child is very happy at Monkey Puzzle Cambridge and we are very satisfied with the nursery. The staff are very friendly and obviously care very much for the children under their care. They take time to tell me each day how our child’s day has been and are interested to hear about their weekend in case there are new skills or activities they can follow up on and build at nursery. The baby room offers a wide variety of planned and spontaneous activities, and children have access to books, toys, role play, messy play etc. The learning plan is useful to help us monitor our child’s development, and the online log helps us feel connected to their day. The only difficulty we have is that our child is sleeping very little at nursery, but that’s not for want of the staff trying!

It was made very easy for us to know our son would settle in really easily and not worry about him.
The daily updates help so we know he has eaten and slept well and photos of his activities are always a joy to see. Always full smiles, learning new things so quickly and picking up things/skills so fast.

We are very happy with the nursery and our child settled in quickly thanks to all the staff in the baby group. Kids participate in lots of activities and messy play. The food is very varied and looks delicious. Overall, a very good review!

My son has been for almost 1 year in this nursery. Since day 1, my family was so welcomed and felt secure like at home.
The staff are all so kind and friendly.
My son just loves to go there. I would not expect a better place. We just love it and his development has been incredibly fast since he goes to nursery.
    Perfect second home. Thank you.

My daughter has spent very pleasant and fruitful six months here. The teachers are very friendly, professional good at communicating and solving all kinds of situations my daughter had. My daughter learned to be friendly and well behaved in this warm family. She learned English in 3 months from zero background of English and established good self-confidence and social skills. Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge is absolutely a fantastic place for any kids nationally or internationally.

My son had attended Monkey Puzzle for 18 months and had the best experiences. He was so happy going in each morning and never wanted to come home! My husband and I were so welcomed from the first minute we entered the nursery and it certainly felt like home.
The staff cared so much for us, and we were so sad when he eventually had to go to school!
    Thank you!

Overall this is a good, safe nursery. The staff is professional and has been flexible in trying to accommodate when we needed last-minute additional cover. The staff is knowledgeable. There is a reasonably high staff turnover but this is likely a challenge all nurseries face. There is a clear educational plan for each age group.

My child has been attending this nursery for more than a year now.
The nursery has helped my child to extend his English vocabulary, to be more confident and to easily socialise with other children.
We are happy to see how our child enjoys his days there.

We have been very pleased with the quality of care the nursery is providing for our child. All current staff in the baby room at the Regent Terrace branch are caring, friendly and lovely. Thank you all for the hard work.

My son (2 and a bit years) loves this nursery. Most days he doesn’t even bother to saygoodbyee he just walks on in. The nursery have been great for him, a wide range of messy play activities (examples: homemade play dough & baking), quiet activities (reading and personal blocks play) and physical activities(bridge building and pretend buses). They are regularly in contact with us to keep us up to date and value our feedback on our son so they can tailor activities for his interests. His speech has come on leaps and bounds here. The staff are kind, passionate and responsive.

My child joined Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery 2 months ago as we had moved into the area. The staff were brilliant at helping my daughter (2yrs old) with the transition to a new house, city and nursery – they are so settled that we’ve even started potty training! The setting is lovely and the team have organised a great range of trips and activities in the run-up to Christmas. Really welcoming and definitely recommend it.

My son has been going to the nursery since he was 9 months old. The level of care in the baby room is outstanding, and we are very happy with how he is thriving with the activities and care. They support him in progressing through development with the food, and management has also been great.

The most valuable thing for me is to see that my daughter loves spending time at the nursery, especially with one member of staff and the other kids. We are happy with the staff and the care she gets. We want her to be as stimulated to learn, play and be curious as possible.
I like the addition of a doorbell connected to the baby room, as it was a major issue to drop off/pick up my daughter every day.
As a not-so-positive aspect, Monkey Puzzle prices are above the average in town.

It is a safe and nurturing environment. My son has been there since he was 20 months old. Everybody was always very attentive, caring and helpful towards him. We always feel that they really care. That was really important to us. There is no conservative, rigid approach to children’s behaviour due to their developmental stages compared to other places we had experienced. Yes, outside space is limited and the fees can be tricky, but people are real and they do look after my son very well. Also, he eats well there, tries new things and the menu they have is really good.
