As parents, we adore the activities that the kids get involved in, especially forest school as we think it is incredibly important for kids to learn and be in the excellent outdoors. The team are consistently quick to respond to messages, incredibly flexible and create a excellent setting for the kids. Thank you all at Acorn Day Childcare centre (Stanwick). My kids adore going to Acorn Day Childcare centre (Stanwick).

The team have also been particularly supportive of his feeding issues and have worked closely with us around this. I have also appreciated their flexibility around my work. I am delighted with how well my son has settled into the childcare centre, leaving us cheerful to leave him in their care.

October 24, 2024 at 9:21 amWe adore the outdoors activities they do with the kids and the remarkable walks and activities inside the childcare centre as well. The team are just remarkable, both our kids have loved going, so that truly speaks volumes about the relationships they build there.
Also the detailed information and photos the team put on the app, mean you can delight in a bit of what the kids have been up to as well. I would suggest Acorn Day Childcare centre to anyone. We have trusted Acorn with both our kids, the eldest has now moved up to school and our youngest is still in the childcare centre.

The facilities are exceptional, especially the outside space and access to forest school. We couldn’t be more delighted with the journey we’ve had so far. Our son has been attending Acorn Day Childcare centre, Stanwick since he was 7 months old and has loved being there from day one.

December 11, 2024 at 8:25 pmThe outdoor provisions, combined with the creative indoor discovering activities are thoroughly engaging, educational and lots of enjoyable for any kid. Our little ones have enjoyed every day of their time there, feeling secure and cheerful. Our youngest gets separation anxiety whenever we have to leave him somewhere but Acorn deal with this sensitively and it takes no time at all for our little one to become immersed in his day there. It speaks volumes that both of our kids have consistently returned home from Acorn with massive smiles on their faces and stories to tell. I would 100 percent suggest the childcare centre. We couldn’t be happier with how Acorn have nurtured both our daughter and son.

January 25, 2025 at 10:16 amThe kids learn through playtime without knowing it. They have a great individual approach with the kids, tailoring the activity to the kid’s ability. Experienced team make a big difference. My son also loves the food and sitting down together to eat it. My son loves going to this childcare centre, they have lots of activities, including forest school and playing in the garden.

January 27, 2025 at 5:17 pmFrom the admin team to the chefs and on the ground team, everyone shows real care and enthusiasm for their job. My son’s key worker is exceptional and has been incredibly supportive of him during his time there. I also know that he is in secure hands when she is not there as the other team members know him well and are regularly involved in his care. How they have coped during the pandemic has been admirable. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest them to others. Acorn childcare centre have been incredibly welcoming and accommodating since my son started with them last summer.

The setting is fantastic and so much time is spent outside in nature and exploring whilst discovering.
The team are so welcoming and well‑informed that nothing is too much to ask, this extends from the early years practitioners through to the office team.
I would not have my kids anywhere else, there are no worries or concerns whilst they are there as I know they are being cared for up to and beyond the highest standard.
Add this to the fact they get fed incredible freshly prepared balanced meals, it’s an all-round win! I genuinely cannot praise Acorn Day Childcare centre Stanwick enough.

The management/admin team are consistently quick to respond to any questions I have and are consistently willing to accommodate. Our little girl only took a week to settle in and I truly believe this is due to the secure and enjoyable setting she was going into. She now runs in without looking back and as her mum, it’s so reassuring to see! We have loved everything about this childcare centre.

We often notice new skills in our kids and realise that this is something we can thank the childcare centre for teaching them. Both my kids started childcare centre before they were 1.

March 29, 2025 at 12:06 pmWhen our son began there in the Squirrels at age 3-years he wasn’t able to talk much but fast forward to now being an Oak, he never stops talking and is highly expressive. He learns so much there and is doing highly well. The team are absolutely fabulous and have worked wonders with him, he thoroughly enjoys his days there which is comforting to us as parents, we are highly grateful for all that they do. My journey of the childcare centre has been a remarkable one.

One of the reasons I wanted my kid to attend Acorn was because of their outdoor activity options, with walks to the local allotment, the garden onsite and the forest school. My kid was welcomed from the highly beginning.

The team at the childcare centre are exceptional and go out of their way to help my kid sense cheerful and secure.

The updates throughout the childcare centre from admin to childcare centre team is excellent. Regular observations and daily updates on the app is exceptional. A excellent range of activities and toys inside and out. A perfect setting for my son to grow, learn and most of all have lots of enjoyable. My son has been attending Acorn Day Childcare centre since September 2022 and has grown in self‑assurance since going.

Incredible transformation, thanks to all the team he has grown so much, full of self‑assurance and 100% ready for school. Highest recommendation from our family. Childcare centre and its setting is excellent, team are excellent and highly attentive, forest school is incredible. Only great things! Our little boy started Acorn Stanwick childcare centre in September 2021.

The team set up a wide range of enjoyable activities which also encourage the kids with their discovering and development.
We adore seeing the updates on the app which include photos and a written description of what the kids have been doing and how they are progressing.
Pre covid it was consistently lovely to be invited in for activities/events and to join the kids at a forest school session. Both our kids have been to Acorn in Stanwick.
