Attentive and professional staff who really get to know the children as individuals. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they keep you informed about all progress and developments.
It’s a safe, inviting and stimulating environment, and they plan a range of activities appropriate to the individual child’s age and development stage to engage them.
The catering provided is also exceptional, and my son absolutely loves his meals there!
Cannot fault them at all.

Sandhills Day Nursery is absolutely amazing. I could not ask for a better group of people to support my child. They are so accommodating and truly wonderful. My daughter loves going to the nursery to see her friends and also her amazing teachers.

My little one absolutely loves coming to preschool, he used to be tearful at leaving me which was difficult for both of us but I feel we have a fantastic relationship with the staff they really go above and beyond to make both parents and children feel safe, happy and comfortable. I feel the communication is fantastic on drop off I am always asked how my little one is and on pick up we are always given a little run down of the day and what they have been up to which is lovely. The activities are fantastic and my little ones key worker will always do some activities based on what my little one is specifically interested in which I really love, lots of outdoor play and great values to help ready for big school. Cannot speak highly enough of Sandhills Day Nursery – really wonderful nursery!

My little boy started here in the baby room when he was nine months old; he is now four years old and in his last year in pre-school with Sandhills. I would just like to thank each and every one of the staff who has made my little boy the intelligent, happy little character he is today. I’m amazed by the progress and confidence he’s achieved whilst being in their care. The staff do amazing activities with all the children indoors and out; my little boy loves coming home to tell me about his day.
I would also like to say Sandhills is the most friendliest and supportive nursery and will be missed very much by my son and me when he goes off to *big school* in September.

My daughter started this nursery when she was two. I was very nervous at first because she didn’t really like it, and had bad separation anxiety, and didn’t think she would stay. The first few weeks were really tricky, but the staff were excellent with her and reassured her and me every day. She will be going into her last year of preschool in September. She absolutely loves nursery now, and her now key worker is absolutely excellent with her, and I can’t thank her enough. Not only is the nursery really good with my daughter, but are also really understanding of my circumstances and will go the extra mile to help us out. I have no complaints at all, and I’m very grateful for all they have done.

Such a wonderful place. The staff here are absolutely amazing, so easy to speak to, everyone is so helpful. My little boy always goes to school with a smile on his face and leaves with a bigger one. When my little boy started, his speech was not the best, but every day, he speaks more and more like a grown-up; he makes me smile, and it’s all down to the nursery. I cannot thank them enough for absolutely everything they do.

I could not be more pleased with the SEN provision for my daughter with additional needs and also the care and compassion shown by all of the staff for both of my children. The staff go above and beyond for my children, and I feel relaxed and safe in the knowledge that the staff have a lovely bond with my children and all their needs are met.

My daughter started nursery when she was three. At first, it was very difficult for us to get used to the separation. Help, support and commitment from the girls working there is invaluable. Now my daughter is four and enjoys going to class. Personally, I find lunches expensive. Unfortunately, a very big minus is the playground for children. Especially on hot days, it looks like a desert. Let’s hope that changes. Once again, I emphasize that the employees give their best, and it really shows. They make up for all shortcomings.

The women working in the room my child was in were emotionally dead. Didn’t interact with my child. She would scream about nursery and refuse to go.
I never got a proper handover. Hardly ever knew if my child had eaten or how much. Didn’t know what my child did during the day. Didn’t know if my child napped. My child came home sunburnt even though I provided suncream. Honestly, the absolute worse nursery setting I have ever experienced.

Perfect nursery. Very good education for children. Good care. Telling everything about the baby’s day when I come to pick up. More space and many toys for children. Easy use nursery apps – everything shows and explains.
