Blossoms Day Nursery

Both of our children go to Blossoms and I can recommend this nursery for any age within their range 0 -5 – their wraparound school care and holiday care is also excellent. I have particularly enjoyed their well thought out parents evenings and the graduation ceremony!

Blossoms Day Nursery has played an important part of both of my daughter’s childhood journeys since 2010. The care and concern shown for our children has been brilliant. Staff at all levels, from the baby room to Poldy Room have taken the time to get to know the girls as individuals and cater for their needs. They have listened to parents feedback and it is evident that they know the children well. Both of my daughters have had a wonderful experience from the ages of 1 to just before starting full time school. Blossoms has prepared them to face the challenges ahead and be independent and above all happy. The girls always came home full of stories about the range of activities (and food) they had! We will never forget them.

My daughter joined Blossoms Day Nursery last year when we moved to Leicester. I think that was the best decision we made for our daughter. She has settled in really well and staff have done their best to accommodate her needs. My daughter was really shy and we believed that she needed extra support to communicate with her peers and nursery went above and beyond in supporting her needs and put in extra sessions and activities in place to build her confidence. Today, my daughter has become a confident girl and she loves coming to the nursery to play with her friends. She also loves the staff in her room. This year, my daughter went through assessments for her school and she managed to get a place at the school of our preference, this wouldn’t have been possible without the support from the nursery. Staff supported us throughout the assessment process and guided us to enable us making the right decision for her future.

My son has been at Blossoms for 4 years, and during his time has leaned so much. The staff employed are of a high calibre and they are given opportunities to progress and develop themselves. They have a good retention rate and, I like to say, they run a tight ship with a ‘slick’ approach. The meals are nutritious and tasty, the learning through play well thought out, the care and comforting exactly as a parent would wish for. I would highly recommend.

Where to begin?
We have had the pleasure of leaving both our children in the care of Blossoms Day Nursery and are unable to express our gratitude in mere words. The care, love, devotion and affection displayed are exemplary. Our children had the most wonderful beginning to school life and it was simply sending them from home to home. The staff are all of wonderful nature and character. Our children would always recollect their day with joy and affection and would lovingly describe what their carers had said.
We would not hesitate in recommending Blossoms to other parents as we have had the most wonderful experience.

Absolutely brilliant experience with Blossoms Day Nursery from start to finish. We have used another local nursery, but hands down, all aspects of Blossoms have blown away the competition. Incredibly caring, enthusiastic, professional staff who spend time with parents to provide feedback, and it never feels like a chore. Having had to move my child to Blossoms after over three years at his previous nursery, all testament to the nursery staff. Excellent value for money too. We wish we had made the move sooner! Blossoms is a lovely little nursery. My son loves going every day, he waits by the front door in the morning with his shoes ready to go.
All the staff are warm and welcoming. My son’s development has come on leaps and bounds since he started last year.

My son has attended Blossoms nursery from the age of about 13 months. Having reviewed local nurseries as well as further afield, Blossoms was placed at one of my top three. The staff were friendly, of varying ages, the nursery itself was spacious both indoors and outdoors and what I wanted more than anything was a homely feel but enough space for my child to become independent. I felt that Blossoms really fulfilled those criteria along with many others I had! Therefore despite a commute of about 20-30mins, I felt that my son would definitely blossom here.
He settled in the first couple of days nicely and the staff have sent regular updates on progress, use of Early Years Foundation Stage which I was keen to follow. He was animated in his discussions about his day at Blossoms and overall I knew I had made the right decision, as ultimately that is seen through my son and how he looks forward to attending! The staff make Blossoms what it is! Keep up the good work! Children are the future! Brilliant nursery!

Overall this has been a very good nursery for my son for the past 3 years. He has developed well over the years and grown to be more confident. The staff are all very helpful and ready to support the child no matter their ability. My son has always been happy and looked forward to going back. Thank you everyone for making his stay a memorable one.

They regularly send us reports about daily activities and keep us updated about my son’s behaviour in the nursery. They also make sure to provide the children with needed care and comfort. It clearly seems like my son really enjoys his time in Blossoms Day Nursery, as well as playing and interacting with other children of the same age or younger.

I have been with Blossoms for over 5 years, and now my little one is going to school we are going to miss them so much. They provide a home from home setting with learning, fun and great meals. He has grown from strength to strength and I will always be forever grateful to the manager and her team for their ongoing support. They will be greatly missed.

This nursery is one of the best in Leicester. The facilities, the staff and the teaching style are all excellent. I can’t fault them.
My little one has just started school and they all guessed that my little one attended Blossoms, as the confidence, mannerism, and overall qualities of my child reflect Blossoms so well.
The carers are all absolutely lovely, my child grew a strong bond with them all, as did I. I truly miss it, and can’t wait to go back to drop the next one!

My children love this nursery all 4 of them have gone here throughout the years only 2 left and they always run in with a smile on their face. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and spend one on one time with the children throughout the week, also you get an end of day review on how your child’s day has been also there’s a secure app you can log in to, to keep updated on their progress. Love it!

We love this nursery! The staff are so friendly and helpful and fantastic with our daughter. The menu is varied, the food is fresh and she loves so many of the dishes on offer. The indoor and outdoor spaces on offer are brilliant and the activities that they provide are amazing. She especially loves Music Masters and Outdoor Adventures. The app for the nursery is brilliant for being kept updated and it’s lovely to see what she is up to during the day. We would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

Amazing! This is the word used to describe the nursery! My little one started here and was unsettled because she was used only with me, but with help from the staff, now she loves to start the day with them. We are so pleased with their work and all that they have done with our baby. So big Thank you for everything that you are doing for the kids.

My son has been attending Blossoms for a year now and loves it. As my son is my rainbow baby the thought of him going to Nursery was very daunting and the thought of him not being in my care was frightening, but from day one I felt very comfortable and at ease with Blossoms and was always reassured. I have seen such a development in my son and could not thank Blossoms enough. They have a lot of events and do a variety of different activities which my son loves his music and especially his PE lessons. The food is excellent and varied, and I have no worries when he is at nursery. Blossoms always keep parents informed of what our children are doing on the Famly App with pictures which I love seeing. They have nice open spacious rooms which are well resourced with a lovely outdoor garden. The staff are amazing and are always friendly, caring and helpful. I could not have wished for a better Nursery for my son and would highly recommend Blossoms. You will not be disappointed.

An amazing nursery setting with warm and welcoming staff. Always make you feel at ease when entering the building and the staff always give feedback for my child on that day. My child always comes home happy and the days they are not in they are asking to return. The manager always has her door open ready to talk and she is very approachable and friendly. My child always comes home with lots of different artwork from the week and it’s lovely to be able to see their journey on Famly.

My son started this nursery on his second birthday, and I reckon that was his best birthday thus far. I’ve never heard of a child wanting to attend nursery every single day (even on the weekends) until now. He adores the staff (especially his key worker), and adores all of his friends (He even has a best friend). The nursery focused primarily on his language and speech (as he wasn’t speaking as clear as his peers), and now he speaks non stop! He has flourished so well. He enjoys doing his homework that the nursery assigns, and tells me so much about his day. He loves the outside space, as well as the trips into town and the park. The care is second to none. He is greeted with such a warm welcome and loves his cuddles and positive reinforcement that all the team strive to give. This nursery carries out so many amazing activities, not just for the children but the parents too. (Mother’s Day just gone was a treat). The nursery held a tea party for all the mums, and it was so heartwarming.

Friendly and professional staff.

Blossoms Day Nursery is an amazing nursery. The staff team are wonderful. The staff create a positive environment by creating engaging activities based on children’s interests and build secure relationships with each child. My niece absolutely loves Blossoms, she has been to other nurseries which she hated and cried all the time but at Blossoms she is a different child. She walks into Blossoms with a huge smile on her face and is so excited! She comes home still smiling and tells all our family about her friends at nursery and all the fun stuff she has done. Staff keep us updated with daily pictures and a care diary as well as posting on Facebook regularly which we love to see! I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

I would 100% recommend Blossoms Day Nursery. The staff are amazing, very caring and helpful. The facilities are great too – lots of activities, lovely outdoor area. My daughter loves it there. She is happy, showing great improvement in her confidence and speech since attending the nursery.

Our son loves coming to Blossoms. His confidence has come on so much since joining. He eats so well and they do lots of hands-on activities each day, which he loves! They have an app they upload pictures on so you can see everything they’ve been up to. Such a lovely team of staff too and always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Blossoms to anyone looking for a nursery for their little one!

The nursery, on the whole, not just one month, the whole time my son has been going has been amazing. The staff are welcoming, friendly and always smiling. My son loves it there, he has learnt and progressed the whole time he has been there and would recommend it over any other nursery. It has great indoor and out facilities for children and they do all sorts with them, playing, singing, reading and garden activities. There is so much they do with them, it’s brilliant!

I would definitely recommend Blossoms Day Nursery to any parents looking for a nursery for their little ones. My little girl started in August 2022. The staff are lovely, kind and really reassuring. My little one would cry every morning for a few months and to finally get her putting her arms out and smiling to the staff is one of the best feelings, especially as a first-time mom, and to have that reassurance that she enjoys nursery and feels comfortable with the staff. The nursery also use an app which the staff upload pictures of the children enjoying different activities and also observations on your child daily. The chef is great and cooks all homemade meals for the children with a choice of different foods offered.

The nursery is a fantastic setting for my child, it is lovely to see how much he has grown in confidence since he started at Blossoms Day Nursery. They plan and organise amazing, creative activities each week linked to specific events such as Chinese New Year or Winnie the Pooh Day. The staff are friendly, welcoming and always listen to parents on the door. They plan some lovely themed evenings for parents and their children such as pumpkin soup and sparkler nights. This was so lovely to bring the community together. As you walk into the nursery you instantly feel the calm and nurtured due to the calming/nutrias toys and equipment.

Such a wonderful nursery. Lots of outdoor play, regular and daily. Updates on what activities my child will take part in. I have watched my daughter bloom. Her personality is really coming out. Staff from nursery offices, finance and management are very friendly and there are no barriers. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our daughter loves and enjoys everything prepared by the cook.
