September 8, 2024 at 11:39 amOffer a full range of extracurricular activities (forest school, dance/drama, Spanish) and have coped brilliantly with Covid restrictions. Couldn’t suggest them more! Truly lovely team, incredible outdoor space (with pets!) and enthusiastic attitude to discovering through enjoyable activities.

September 14, 2024 at 2:33 pmWe fell in adore with the childcare centre at the first viewing. The team are attentive, expert, supportive and excellent with their daily updates. The team are excellent at promoting independence too.
The facilities at the childcare centre are fantastic. The outdoor space is outstanding and all the kids get to spend time outside exploring and playing.
We adore Little Acorns and would highly suggest it to any prospective parents. Our son has attended Little Acorns for a year now.

September 17, 2024 at 10:31 pmSince she has been at the childcare centre it hasn’t disappointed me!
All of the team are so welcoming and attentive and know all of the kids truly well.
My daughter absolutely loves attending the childcare centre and actually cries when we pick her up and she has to leave! From the moment I looked around the childcare centre, I knew I wanted my daughter to attend.

October 9, 2024 at 2:37 amAs an educator and mother I knew exactly what I wanted for my kid, but have been blown away by the pastoral care and commitment to assistance his development and social needs. Little Acorns team are welcoming, welcoming and practice what they preach, in fact they’ve supported me in being a better parent- by sharing ways to resolve/ assistance some of my sons particular needs. Team work beyond hard, in a pandemic they were irreplaceable and the kids were so cheerful and lucky to have such enjoyable filled days, where interactions and friendship have blossomed. For me it’s down to the exceptional manager, no ask is too excellent, her truthfulness, practical nature and diligence runs through her team members. My son doesn’t want to come home! The appearance of a large house, echoes the place being a home with a fantastic garden with apple tree, trampolines, and chickens. It’s definitely a space I’d like to spend my time! Little Acorns is a special place, it is a home from home journey.

October 20, 2024 at 8:15 amEvery day updates what my kid has been up to. They try hard to make sure your kid eats, try different tactics. Same when kid is naughty, they keep you posted and try different tactics to teach your kid. The team, as well as manager, know all the kids by name. The groups are not too big. They are teaching as preparation for school. They are truly nice people. My kid was interested in a certain topic and they created a corner with that topic with posters and books. They also encourage kids to be independent. Lovely attentive team.

November 1, 2024 at 4:11 amShe’s consistently highly cheerful and excited to go. My daughter loves her time at Little Acorns, the team are remarkable and there is a fabulous outdoor area, as well as lots of activities that keep her entertained.

November 13, 2024 at 8:28 pmI adore it. The team and manager go above and beyond to make the journey fantastic, varied and interesting for the kids. As well as all the usual activities you’d expect, they have different professionals come in every day of the week to teach the kids things like yoga, Spanish and drama. They also take them to forest school and organise lovely trips too. It’s truly reasonably priced, I suggest it to everyone looking for preschool childcare. My kids have attended three nurseries now, but this one is a keeper!

December 19, 2024 at 1:15 pmShe has been going since she was one and she is now three. All through her time there, the team have been fantastic, supporting her development and creating a enjoyable and dynamic place that we are cheerful to send her to. They have been absolute troopers throughout the pandemic. They have never had to shut due to covid (apart from national lockdowns) and that is quite incredible. They also are excellent with our daughter’s vegan diet, and truly listen to us about her needs. We consistently have a chat at the end of each day to find out how she’s been doing, and I just truly appreciate the care they take in everything they do. It is also reasonably priced compared to others and has provision for the free 30 hours which not all nurseries do. Absolutely invaluable! Little Acorns is a inviting and secure place for our daughter to grow and thrive.

January 4, 2025 at 10:53 pmShe has progressed through all of the different age rooms and formed truly strong bonds with team in each of them.
It was incredible to see how they coped with the pandemic and a testament to how well managed the childcare centre is.
The facilities are excellent and our daughter regularly tells us about things she has eaten there which we would struggle to feed her at home. Updates is excellent with handovers at the end of each day.
Even after we moved farther away we continued to send our daughter here, we adore Little Acorns that much. Our daughter has loved her time at Little Acorns Day Childcare centre and we sense highly lucky to have had her cared for there.

January 19, 2025 at 9:42 amBoth of our kids have been cared for by the fantastic team. They have a excellent variety of activities to stimulate discovering and bring nature to the kids through giant rabbits, fish tanks and visits to the local forest school. It was recommended to us by neighbours who had sent both their kids there many years ago and it’s reputation continues to grow. We adore Little Acorns!

February 12, 2025 at 2:03 amAll the team we’ve met have been incredibly supportive, attentive to details, supportive and responsive to whatever we wanted for our daughter, cheerful to give feedback and suggestions. It’s obvious they work hard to give the highly best possible care for all the kids. We’ve seen our daughter development leaps and bounds (literally) as she’s attended Little Acorns.
The different imaginative playtime, equipment, classes, outside time and fresh food are all outstanding— she loves to attend childcare centre.
We have felt supported through nap progression and potty training— we think the team helped immensely with both. So impressed and grateful the team also, somehow, successfully managed to keep everything going throughout the pandemic! Hats off! Would highly suggest. We find this childcare centre to be outstanding.

February 16, 2025 at 5:58 pmThe team are fantastic, she learns so much and speaks excitedly about what she’s done there each day and about her friends and educators. They are highly creative in the activities they do and they follow her interests as well as introducing her to new things. Her keyworker and all of the team there are exceptional and communicate truly well how things are going, with a daily update, and I can tell they truly think about and care about the development and wellbeing of the kids, from the things they have done and said. They have a excellent outdoor space, including chickens! I couldn’t suggest more highly. My daughter started at Little Acorns in the pre-school room, and from day one she has absolutely loved it.

February 23, 2025 at 12:44 pmThere is a vast outdoor space which is used every day that the weather allows. The kids get to explore the natural world around them – looking for squirrels and rabbits, trips to the pond, collecting pine cones and conkers etc. There are lots of activities on offer each day, which the kids consider as playtime and don’t realise the number of new skills they are discovering. Resources are renewed and updated regularly. The team are very attentive, and the key workers build up a very close relationship which each kid. Updates is great – I get an update each evening. There is a notice that is updated daily listing all of the activities that were on offer that day, and there is a newsletter sent out regularly. The manager is very responsive to queries or feedback. On the occasion that I have had an issue, it was dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. I would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre. All 3 of my kids have attended this childcare centre and they have loved (and continue to) their time there.

May 4, 2025 at 8:21 amIt’s a fantastic setting and we’ve felt highly supported as a family since our daughter started there. We are so cheerful with Little Acorns, the team and manager are so attentive and have been truly supportive, we truly sense they’ve gone above and beyond to meet our kid’s needs.

May 31, 2025 at 5:55 amFrom day one they have provided exceptional pastoral assistance. It is clear that they care about the individual needs of all the kids that attend, and this is clear when observing the daily updates provided to each parent as they pick their son or daughter up.
For our own son, the transition to an early years setting has been tough. He has quite particular discovering needs, and in his first year, both his key worker and the SENCO went above and beyond to make sure he was both progressing and cheerful, even attending specific CPD training to further their skills when working with his specific needs.
The level of insight they have provided in observational material and informal feedback has been spot on. It shows attentional to detail and understanding and has consistently been communicated in a way that is empathetic of the feelings of parents that are emotionally invested in the lives of their kids. We enrolled our son into Little Acorns in the summer of 2020.

June 5, 2025 at 4:49 pmWe moved her from a childminder who couldn’t get her to nap. The team at Little Acorns got her to sleep on the first day and looking back I’m not surprised. The carers are compassionate and confident and create a inviting home-from-home setting. I don’t hesitate to suggest Little Acorns. Our four-year-old has been at Little Acorns since she was fifteen months.

June 9, 2025 at 3:15 pmAll the team are so compassionate and the atmosphere is truly supportive. They have weekly activities, even for the little ones, and take them on trips and the meals are incredible. The building is lovely and the garden is big with excellent facilities and pets. I’d happily suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My son is highly cheerful at this childcare centre.

June 19, 2025 at 8:54 pmAll the carers build genuine bonds with our kids, it’s like a second home to them. My eldest frequently complains that he wants to go back (he’s year 1 at junior school now!) Seems like lots of activities, kids consistently coming back with art and craft stuff, and they have trainers come in to do sports and exercise sessions. Plus there’s forest school. Food is well balanced, our kids tend to eat far wider variety of things at childcare centre than they do at home (fussy and moany at home). When we’ve had issues with potty training and behaviour, they’ve sat and brainstormed ideas with us, then assisted with any action plans we decide upon. Exceptionally supportive, not sure what we would do without them! Both our kids went to Little Acorns and had a remarkable journey (our youngest still goes there).

June 21, 2025 at 2:09 pmExceptional outdoor space too. All three of our kids have been through it and loved their time there, made excellent friends and grew highly attached to their fantastic educators. We’ll be sad not to be regular visitors once our youngest starts school this year! Highly recommended. This is a remarkable childcare centre with attentive, supportive team, a fantastic manager and a lovely enjoyable setting for the kids.
