No complaints! Team are lovely and informative and give you a run down of the day. My daughter has been with the childcare centre for the last three months and is consistently cheerful for us to leave her and consistently looks like she is having a lovely time when we collect her.

We honestly couldn’t suggest them enough!
From start to end, they’ve supported us as a family and our daughter through the entire process.
She will truly miss all the team and going to Young Sussex.
It’s been our extended family for the last 18 months.
The care and education provided are top-notch; having a kid five years older, I wish I’d known about Young Sussex before. We will be forever grateful to the team at Young Sussex for our memories, but she is so ready to start her next adventure. We hope that Young Sussex continues to thrive for a very long time. Our daughter absolutely loves Young Sussex, and so do we!

Being my first kid, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my journey and my daughter’s journey has been nothing but positive. All the team are lovely, and I am consistently greeted with a big smile at pick up time. Would not hesitate to suggest. My daughter has been going to Young Sussex Childcare centre Brighton for the last 3 months.

She would consistently walk in cheerful, and she created a very strong bond will all the team. Every day she would come home with new skills, and I could see the positive impact the childcare centre activities had on her development. Her needs and interest were consistently taken into account, and the relationship with her key worker was incredible. Would highly suggest his childcare centre to any of my relatives and friend. You are doing an incredible job, and I am glad my kid could benefit from it.
Also, she consistently enjoyed the food. They have a excellent outdoor space and consistently do the most incredible project to keep the little minds busy. My daughter loved attending Young Sussex Childcare centre.

She started when she was 11 months old and my husband and I were worried about how she would settle in. She quickly formed a relationship with her key worker who she absolutely loves, and it only took a couple of days for her to settle in.
She’s now 20 months old and trots happily up the little ramp to the Bear Cubs door, knocking and calling out her key workers name and lots of her little friends’ names. She has gained so much self‑assurance and picked up skills at childcare centre that we haven’t specifically taught her at home.
Her language skills have developed really well, and so have her social skills (this was a worry for us as the majority of her life has been spent in lockdown).
The Bear Cubs team is excellent and they do lots of enjoyable activities that keep the kids engaged. It’s lovely to see photos and read updates on the app.
We are so sad to be moving to another childcare centre closer to home as she will really miss it! My daughter absolutely loves going to childcare centre at Young Sussex Brighton.

Consistently smiling. My kid has consistently wanted to go to childcare centre. She left satisfied and cheerful. I hope that every kid that comes to you will be as cheerful as mine. The team has consistently been supportive to us.

Both of my kids are very cheerful, they look forward to coming into childcare centre and are very secure here. The activities that the team do are varied and enriching, lots of messy and interesting activities. They ensure that the kids go outside often. I find all members of team extremely expert, supportive and attentive, often going above and beyond to meet everyone’s needs. I can’t suggest Young Sussex highly enough.

The team all seem really attentive and make time at the end of the day to really chat to you about his day. We get regular updates throughout the day on the app and I’m consistently impressed with the activities they get up to, everything from crafts to cookery. We are so glad that we chose Young Sussex Childcare centre. My son has been at Young Sussex Childcare centre for five weeks and he loves it.

Only after moving, have we come to realise how basic it is and expensive. My son never did artwork that came home, no external activities, that Young Sussex likes to promote, exist or happened for him either, no discovering. In his new setting, I now get artwork coming home, they do “star school” to prepare the kids for school, teach letters etc and give excellent updates. I never got this at Young Sussex. Cost – well my son’s new setting is less than half the cost of Young Sussex and another I looked at just £2.50 a day when funded. His new setting also provides meals included in the price and Young Sussex don’t (they do snacks). Young Sussex provides an online calculator to explain what the cost will be, once you get the Early Years funding. It’s not as simple as free hours/days. I understand Young Sussex explain additional fees are applicable for snacks etc. This isn’t the case everywhere so look around. I’ve reduced from approximately £400 per month to £150 and get more for my money. I found it to be adequate and secure.

She has loved every second of it. She has really developed and learnt a lot. She has formed so many close friendships there and has bonded well with the team. She loves going to childcare centre and consistently finishes excited with stories to tell and songs to sing. The team are very attentive and welcoming and genuinely delight in their jobs. They really have made such a positive impact and she talks about them all the time and I’m very grateful for her time there. I want to thank the key workers and all the team working there. My daughter will miss you all and her classmates very much. My daughter has been at Young Sussex Brighton for a year.

Our daughter has attended for over a year and has been so cheerful here. The team are so attentive and come up with such interesting, stimulating activities for the kids. I adore seeing what our daughter gets up to. The rooms are fantastic environments for the kids and the back garden is a lovely place to explore: climbing frame, plants and flowers, and lots of room. It’s also an incredibly well-run childcare centre (very quick responses to emails), with lots of flexibility in terms of times/sessions, which makes such a huge difference. The only reason we are leaving is because we are moving house: I’m sad we can’t take Young Sussex with us. Thank you to all the team for making my daughter’s time here so special. From the moment we stepped inside Young Sussex, my partner and I had excellent vibes about the place – and it has more than lived up to our expectations.

My girls flourished there, and I am sad we are now at the end of an era. The team have been lovely over the years and provided excellent assistance during the pandemic when my kid needed a place to be while we worked for the NHS. After eight years and two kids at Young Sussex, I could not suggest Young Sussex highly enough.

The team were consistently excellent, and our daughter was consistently cheerful to go in and had a excellent time, and we consistently felt she was in a secure, secure setting.
I would suggest Young Sussex to anyone and am planning to send my son there once I return to work. Our daughter started with Young Sussex just before her first birthday and continued until starting school in September 2022.
The whole time we have had a positive and cheerful journey, even though the uncertainty of the pandemic.

She stomps in every morning, barely looks back at me (I’m lucky if I get a wave), and seems to have a remarkable time. She settled in very quickly and seems to delight in it. I’ve been particularly impressed with the team’s effort at trying to work out her cloth nappies. We had a few weeks of a lot of leaks until I changed the type of cloth nappy I send her in, and the team were so patient with us. They must have had lots of extra work with her, changing her trousers multiple times a day, but they didn’t complain and were cheerful to keep trying. I’ve also been impressed with the management/admin side of things, they are all very organised and efficient. Our daughter has been attending for a couple of months now and she seems to really adore it!

He made exceptional friends and learned so much about who he is and the world around him. We have been incredibly grateful to his key workers and room leaders (Bears and Tigers), who have consistently encouraged his interests, supported his development and celebrated him for who he is. Throughout the challenges of the pandemic, they have helped him sense secure and settled, and he was consistently so enthusiastic to go in. We were just sad to move away! Our son loved his time at Young Sussex.

A constant source of kindness, assistance and encouragement for us and our son. He has just started his first week at infants school today and I know that he has gone in with a self‑assurance and enthusiasm which is down to the incredible care he received at Young Sussex. Fantastic educators, management and facilities. A truly remarkable childcare centre school – the team helped our son navigate the challenges of a move from another childcare centre, through to the tribulations of the pandemic.

Consistently greeted with big smiles. Our son was clearly content in Tiger Cubs – and with his ongoing health issues to navigate, we felt very supported by the team, which brought excellent comfort to me as Mum, knowing he was in secure hands. The range of activities that they would put on for the kids was so refreshing, especially as they would cover current social events and help the kids learn more about the setting they lived in, being inclusive of all walks of life.
We were very sad to leave (due to moving) but were very cheerful in the knowledge that our son had one of the best starts in life in the childcare centre with the help of Young Sussex. I could not suggest them enough – they are remarkable! Young Sussex has such an incredible team of team that were incredibly attentive and supportive to us as a family and our little boy.

She settled in so well and really formed a bond with her main carer at the childcare centre. The updates has been excellent, and we get little updates to see what they have been up to and a daily report verbally at the door on collection. They do lots of enjoyable, creative activities that our daughter loves that we wouldn’t easily do at home. The kids all seem really cheerful and settled, and we cannot fault them on anything! We chose to do the childcare centre lunches, which our daughter seems to really like. They are also excellent at naps, and put her down when she is tired, resulting in generally great naps. I think their approach to individual sleep needs is excellent and works well for us. I would not hesitate in recommending this childcare centre to anyone looking to send their kid here. Very impressed! Our daughter has been at Young Sussex Dyke Road since she was 1 in May this year.

Our son went to Young Sussex and joined the Tiger Cubs before moving up to Lion Cubs at 4-years-old.
The team, throughout both age groups, were exceptionally nice and welcoming, and we felt so comfortable that they were taking great care of our little one.
They playtime with them and consistently seem to be doing different activities with a nice variety, and our son consistently came home cheerful and excited by what he had done/drawn/made that day.
I would highly suggest Young Sussex.

no words are enough. I will forever be grateful for all that Young Sussex has supported our family with over the last three years, from the pandemic through to open heart surgery!
Not to mention the ongoing daily assistance with his stammer, food allergies and sore skin.
Despite all of the above, my son is absolutely thriving, full of self‑assurance and happiness. I have no doubt that he has had the best start to school life, and his future success has been shaped by his experiences during these early years at Young Sussex. Where do I start…
