Little Orchard Montessori Nursery - Lee Mill

My son has been attending this nursery since September 2017 due to us relocating. I was worried how he would be, starting a new nursery as he is only 3. I cannot thank this nursery enough. My son’s confidence has grown huge amounts and he always wants to go to nursery. He was very fussy with his food and would just pick at his dinner whereas now he eats a full meal at the nursery and they are very healthy home cooked dinners.

I couldn’t be happier with Little Orchard Montessori Nursery – Ivy Town. Both my girls love spending time here. The staff and managers are absolutely fantastic and I always feel at ease knowing my girls are in very safe hands. They both love eating the chefs freshly cooked meals and have lots of fun exploring new things. I have found the whole Montessori ethos works really well, in letting my girls follow what interests them and learn at their own pace. They’ve both gained confidence in themselves and made some really lovely friends. I also love hearing and seeing what my girls have been up to through the Famly app, which is great for being kept informed and is so easy to use. Thank you!

Since starting Little Orchards nursery over 12 months ago, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds, her confidence has grown rapidly and she has developed a lovely relationship with the staff which are all lovely too.
The nursery staff are all very welcoming and they offer a home cooked meal daily with a variety of nutritious dishes some of which I never thought my daughter would touch – she now eats pretty much everything!
I would highly recommend this nursery. I’m sure she’ll miss it a lot come September when she leaves for big school!

Little Orchard Nursery is a fantastic setting for pre-school children and their parents. The staff are kind, patient, polite and highly trustworthy. My little girl loves going to nursery and the staff have really helped to develop her confidence as well as her speech.
They are very flexible with regards to extra sessions when needed, this is great when working like myself. I highly recommend this setting for any pre-school child needing nursery!

My daughter has been going to the Ivy Town Nursery since September and she absolutely loves it. We can’t fault Little Orchards in any way, they have really helped our daughter with her slight speech delay and are continuing to help her in every way they can to prepare her for school next year. The staff are lovely and always willing to talk.
The best part about Little Orchards Nursery is they are Montessori which means that my daughter can learn at her own rate rather then what is “expected” of her at her age and they work in a child-centred way so it’s all done around my child. My daughter just loves going to nursery every day. They do so many things together, going out on walks, learning to cook, going on trips to visit a care home, going to visit the local fire station and of course going to the park.
I cannot express my thanks to them in the way they have been helping my daughter, not only in education but in socialising and helping bring her speech/communication on in leaps and bounds!

My little boy has only recently started here and he is quite a shy and clingy child but the baby room leader is amazing with him and makes me feel so relaxed sending him in. They are happy for me to call and check on him and they also have a great app that we love. Highly recommend!

Always clean and well stocked with appropriate toys. Our daughter attends the baby room and loves it. The updates throughout the day are great. I have no worries about leaving my baby there from 5 months old.

Both our sons attend Little Orchard at Lee Mill and they are so happy there. All the staff are kind and nurturing and they communicate really well with us. They are both so well cared for there and growing in independence all the time. Our 3-year-old talks excitedly about all the things he’s been doing and the staff work hard to follow his interests. He loves the various outdoor spaces as well. The menus are varied and everything is made on-site which is lovely. The hours are flexible and work well for us. We can’t recommend this setting and the wonderful team there highly enough.
