Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Solent Business Park Whiteley

My daughter started here in September when I started work. I was worried about leaving her as she had just turned 1, however, she absolutely loves it here all the staff are caring and my daughter has a close bond with many of them and would most probably rather stay at nursery. She had come on in leaps and bounds since being here and has learnt so much already.

My daughter has been going here for over a year and she absolutely loves it. She has just turned 3 and is slightly behind on her speech and development but the team and been so helpful and supportive of her needs. Over the recent months since moving to the pre-school room, her speech has massively improved and we are pleased with how she is developing. Mum normally does the drop and collection but when I can collect the team do a great job explaining how the day has gone, what she’s enjoyed and eaten etc which is very reassuring. In recent months this has been staff who are great. My daughter never has any issues with drop-off or collection. Would highly recommend. Thanks, team for everything you do to support.

After Covid, it was very difficult to place my daughter into a childcare setting. The team at Kiddi Cary Dat Nursery Solent Business Park Whitley were amazing putting me and my husband at ease, showing us the nursery and allowing her to explore. She has had some amazing nursery teachers who have supported her to settle in and are unbelievably caring. Recently my concerns of preparing her for school were answered confidently and with some amazing structure that still has an element of fun and them being children but also incorporating learning through this. Never being made to feel like an overbearing mother no matter what you ask. The app is a great function to see what’s happening in the nursery. This is honestly a nursery that cares.

We are so pleased with this setting. This is the first setting our daughter has accessed and we really would not like to take her any where else.
The staff work so incredibly hard and constantly go above and beyond. They care about your children as if they were their own.
A lot of work has been put into the room our daughter is in recently and the changes have gone a long way to her having the best days at nursery.

Today we attended the family fun day hosted by Solent Whiteley Nursery. Our 3-year-old daughter has been going there since Autumn 2021 and we’ve recently signed our son up to join early next year when he turns 1.
We were never in doubt that this setting is amazing (our daughter loves it!), but to have the opportunity to spend quality time there today, to see our daughter interacting with the activities and to chat with the wonderful staff was just brilliant. Thank you to the team for going above and beyond to host such a great event (on a Saturday no less!), and thank you for creating such a fun, caring environment for the children to learn, play and thrive in.

We loved the nursery from the first time we were shown around and were made to feel very comfortable with all our questions answered. Our 2 year old then had 8 weeks of settling in sessions before joing at the start of September. The settling in sessions were great for us to feel confident it was the right setting for us, but our son really didn’t need them as he instantly loved the nursery and settled in effortlessly. The staff are so supportive and nurturing and you really feel like your leaving your child in good hands. My son loves the outdoors and the nursery has a lovely outdoor area which they have developed and continue to add fun and interactive features to, so he absolutely adores it, as well as enjoying all the activities they have to offer. He always looks forward to going to “nurserys house”. I’m always informed how his mornings have been and what he’s been enjoying and love getting updates via the app. We’re so happy he’s thriving here and 100% recommend this nursery.

Our little one started his journey in the nursery in September, when we moved in the Whiteley area. It has been a great experience to see that the team was so welcoming and friendly, as our little one was going through his settle-in sessions. Thanks to the team and their efforts he is gradually stepping into the end of his adaptation period. He shares that he has friends now and having a fun time (for less than a month). We are very thankful to the whole nursery crew!

The service has become more expensive but it has not improved but is less satisfactory. We now must provide our own nappies and my child often comes home wearing clothes that are stained in food, even though spare clothes are provided. The app is barely updated and with there now being less kids in the toddler room at a particular time, I’m not sure why more effort isn’t put into logging observations. The toddler room itself looks bare and there isn’t much evidence of the kind of activities that are available to my child. The staffing issue has caused my household anxiety and receiving emails asking if my child can be kept home are not helpful when there’s a reason why they have to be in the nursery in the first place (both parents work full time). There has been a lot of illness and staff absences, so the availability of care has not been reliable. Overall, we feel like we’re paying a lot of money but are not seeing where it’s going as nothing has improved.

My son started at Kiddi Caru Solent Business Park Whiteley in September 2022. He absolutely loves his day that he goes to nursery. The staff are amazing – very welcoming, friendly and caring. The facilities are brilliant with a lovely outdoor area for the children to explore. The menu on offer is varied, healthy and balanced. My son absolutely loves the food at nursery with his handover sheet usually stating he has eaten everything. The app is also a great feature – allowing you to see what the children are getting up to at nursery. Overall, extremely impressed with everything at Kiddi Caru Solent Whiteley Nursery, in particular, my sons lovely nursery workers in the baby room. Thank you for everything and for always providing my boy with an exciting, fun packed day!

We have been very happy with the nursery, they take excellent care of our son and keep us informed of what had happened during his day. We also have access to see photos of him taking part in activities. He eats all the food provided, therefore he must be enjoying it. I like the fact that the nursery isn’t too big.
