My child appears to enjoy going to nursery and has a good relationship with all the staff so I am told. There is rather poor communication both in-person and through the parent sharing app coupled with a constant change of staff making it is difficult to know who is who. We have had two Teams meetings during the last year though nothing for the parents to get to know each other. Prior to Covid, there were evening events put on for parents. Management does not appear to take responsibility, rather passing it down to the room staff along with the blame for mistakes or disappointment. Though I have been asked for feedback, it does not seem to be considered as there has been very little response. There are some really passionate staff members who genuinely care about the kids. The location, hours and cost are the main reasons we remain here.

I would highly recommend this nursery as it provides quality care for my baby without breaking the bank. My child is always happy to see the staff from his room and happy when we pick him up. This suggests to me that he is well looked after and enjoys his time there. I can see a lot of positive differences in my child’s personality from when he started nursery. He is more social and his communication skills have improved as well. He eats almost everything offered at the nursery which is not the case at home. His motor skills have improved with all the activities he gets exposed to at the nursery. The staff give us an update on his day when we pick him up and are always helpful. All in all, this is an excellent nursery.

My son was born through the pandemic, so once I returned to work I needed to find a nursery that would support and encourage the lack of exposure to activities/playgroups etc. he has had and also interact with him again, something that has been very limited throughout his first year. I visited a few nurseries, some very unhelpful or restrictive due to Covid even though lockdown had eased, soon as I visited this nursery I got a sense of care, attention and values towards the growth and development of the children and their parents. Loved the layout and resources available to children.

In June my daughter transitioned from one room to another as she became 2. The transition was handled well and myself and my daughter were reassured by knowing what to expect and even asked what we would like her to be learning in her new room. I found this really good and meeting her new key person was a relief with not being able to come into the nursery.

It is almost impossible not to appreciate the work the staff and management of Co-op Childcare Woolwich. I have only to go through the pictures gallery of my daughter from when she was a toddler to when she started calling other kids “Toddlers” and now getting ready for reception next month. It’s has been an incredible journey for us the parent and the kids and there are no better people to share that journey with than you guys at Woolwich Co-op. The incredible work you do is evident in the brilliant growth observed in our kids. The live feeds on the web profile have also been brilliant as it allows real-time follow up on what the kids are up to and the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff and management have been impeccable. I will certainly continue to recommend you to friends and family. Thanks.

I am very happy with the Co-op Childcare Woolwich Day Nursery. My eldest child attended here a few years back and my youngest has been here for a year now. I feel the staff are very caring, helpful, kind and friendly. Even though due to Covid we haven’t been able to go inside the nursery, it is always nice to know about my child’s day with the verbal feedback given at home time.

My daughter attended this nursery for a short period just before we moved. It was very upsetting to leave! The staff are amazing, caring and attentive to all the children. All staff are very supportive towards the parents, as well as the building being very clean with a professional setting for the children. Health and safety is very high, which leaves no concerns once the little ones are behind the doors! I would recommend anyone to join. I’m sad we were unable to stay. Yet to find a replacement as good as this nursery.

I’m really happy with Co-op Childcare Day Nursery and their service is worth all the money. The good things about the nursery:
App – it gives you real-time updates about your child, so it’s lovely to get alerts while you’re at work of your child playing or even seeing what they’ve eaten through the day.
Staff – all the staff are super helpful and friendly from your child’s key worker to the manager. Staff are very responsive to the app and face to face and take on any observation seriously.
Activities – your child has access to great learning facilities as well as a large outdoor space which is rare in London.
Observations are done weekly which helps with your child’s development at home.
My daughter absolutely loves the nursery which makes it easier to leave her when I go to work.
For what you pay the service is a bargain.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 2 months now and the staff have been so caring towards us. The transition from home to nursery has gone smoothly as they have followed through with my daughter’s routine. I get regular updates of what she is doing during the day, I have also requested photos of her and when they can I get sent photos of activities she has taken part in during the day. I feel I can call the nursery and check on how my daughter is doing. My daughter enjoys the food here and the room and garden have lots of fun activities to keep her busy and engaged.

Thank you all for your hard work in supporting and guiding my daughter’s development, she has developed into a confident and capable child.
I’m extremely proud with how much progress my daughter has made over the years, how well she had settled into each class as she grows and how well the practitioners and all staff have done in their role, so dedicated, patient and committed to each child’s needs and learning journey.

I have my second child at the nursery now. It went through some not so great times before and during Covid with regards to staffing and organisation, but since new managers have taken over, all seems much better again, like it was when my first child started.
My second is flourishing. He loves all the staff and has moved up to the next room seamlessly.
Also, their menu is outstanding! I often wish I could eat there!

A great setting with amazing caring staff. There are lots for the kids to do both inside and out. The days are constructive and fun. The meals are healthy and varied each day. Highly recommend this setting.

My experience with the nursery manager has been fantastic, she is very friendly, quick to resolve any issues you might have and she is absolutely welcoming and always ready to help you. My little one is graduating next month (July 2022) and onto primary in September 2022. The staff there are very friendly, my little one loves it. Would highly recommend.

The thought of taking our son to a nursery made my Mrs very nervous due to past negative, personal experiences. I must say that the nursery is well worth every fee we have paid. When he started, it was a challenge for our son who was born during the lockdown as the only people he knew were his mom, dad and very close family members. However, his progress within a very short time was remarkable – all due to the care, friendliness and selflessness of the nursery staff, especially those in his baby class. They look after him like he is their child. We are very pleased with his progress and development. He has been introduced to a variety of food. He loves playing with his mates in the garden and getting involved in all the activities arranged at the nursery. As parents, we are happy with the nursery app as we get regular and up-to-date communication from the staff. Also, we really like the one-to-one update that we receive at collection time. I highly recommend the nursery.

My son has had a great time at this nursery with the lovely staff. It’s the only nursery where he adjusted really well and I’m extremely happy with his development throughout his time at the nursery. I love that they have a wonderful outside place with so many things for the kids to do. Would highly recommend.

My daughter had a fantastic experience, the staff are exceptional and work so hard. The kids there have a great time whether it be playing games, stories and/or phonics. With the app they record all details needed so you know how your child has been all day, highly recommend them.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 9 months old and the staff there have been instrumental to his development and well-being for the past three years. He has really flourished in terms of communication, emotionally and socially and this is all down to the patience, love, care and support he’s received from the staff. The nursery has definitely been a home away from home for my son and we are sad that we have to leave because of a change in circumstances.
A very big thank you to management and the team for your dedication and commitment for making the nursery a safe, supporting and nurturing environment. I highly recommend this nursery to all prospective parents looking for an excellent childcare setting!

My experience with Co-op Childcare Woolwich is absolutely brilliant. The staff are very caring and understanding. I feel my daughter is not only a number but filled with love and care every day.
The nursery makes me confident in leaving my daughter all day and I always receive feedback during the day which helps me to make me feel I have made the right decision in selecting the nursery in Woolwich.

Our daughter is really happy at the Co-Op Childcare nursery in Woolwich. The staff provided a lot of support to help her settle in and are attentive, and kind and provide us with lots of updates and feedback. The food is great and healthy and with lots of variety. The children spend a lot of time outside in the garden which is important to us and we’re very happy we chose it!

The nursery are welcoming, professional and inclusive. The staff are great, they are so lovely to our family and I really trust them to look after both of my children. The nursery is well resourced and has lovely outdoor space which is used daily. I enjoy spending time with my children at the engagement events that are put on. The staff have had lots of changes but have dealt with it well and continue to be brilliant for my daughters.
