September 13, 2024 at 12:47 pmManagement, key workers and team in general are all welcoming and compassionate, nothing is ever too much. My son settled in quickly and he absolutely loves going to childcare centre, sometimes cries if I pick him up early (I think he feels like he’s missing out!). I can’t thank the Co-op Childcare centre Carterton enough for being part of my boy’s journey and helping him grow. He’s leaving such a different boy to what he started as, and he’ll definitely miss everyone when he leaves this month as he’s going to big school in September. We will never forget you all. Thank you for being such a big part of our lives, the help and kindness shown and for helping our little boy to grow, shine and flourish. A childcare centre definitely recommended. My son has been going to this childcare centre since September 2021.

I look forward to seeing what’s been happening during his day through the photos and information logged on the app. The food is varied, healthy and lovingly made by the Chef. Overall this is a super childcare centre, with welcoming and well‑informed team, offering remarkable value for money – I would absolutely recommended this childcare centre to other parents. My first son attended this childcare centre and because he enjoyed it so much, I didn’t even consider a different one for my second.

Within weeks, her key person started and helped us crack potty training, ditching her dummy and eating lots of different foods she would normally turn down.
I have only positive things to say of our journey. Would absolutely suggest. My daughter has loved every single day of childcare centre.

November 16, 2024 at 3:00 amThey absolutely adore attending childcare centre and have big smiles when they see the team. Team are highly attentive and go above and beyond every day. They give us such exceptional updates throughout the day of what the little ones have been up to and make suggestions on what to practice at home to help engage the kid and assistance their development. One of my kids has a disability, which was a truly scary time for us and concerning thinking how he would cope in childcare centre, but my mind was quickly put at ease when I saw how diligent they were and I know now I made the right decision to send him to this childcare centre. Highly cheerful with everything and highly suggest it to any parent. I have twin boys that have started attending childcare centre this year and they couldn’t have settled in any better, I was highly cheerful with the transition of them only being at home through Covid lockdowns and only seeing two adults and no other kids to attending childcare centre.

Since starting childcare centre a few months ago my daughter’s development has come on so much and most importantly I know she is cheerful and well looked after there which makes my working day that little bit easier. The childcare centre have put on special little events to truly make the parents sense involved, such as food tasting evenings, parent’s evening and a tea party. I highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter has settled so well at the childcare centre and the team go out of their way for the kids.

My daughter has made such great bonds with the team and consistently looks forward to going in and seeing them. The management team are also super supportive when I’ve had enquiries etc. Cannot fault the childcare centre at all, looking forward to my youngest joining in the upcoming months and seeing her have the same positive journey as the team consistently talk to her at drop off/pick up too. Highly suggest this childcare centre! My daughter started in September 2022 and absolutely loves attending.

December 10, 2024 at 4:15 pmDrop off and pick-up times are super flexible – drop off and pick up between the opening hours. Food and nappies are included. We’ve been invited to a parent’s evening, a jubilee picnic and to be classroom ambassadors already, so it’s secure to say they are highly engaging. In addition to that, we get updates almost hourly via the parent app, 3 or more photos a week and updates on nappy changes, sleeps, food and activities. I suggest the childcare centre and haven’t had any problems so far. Our daughter started here in April and has now been in a full time placement for a month now.

December 11, 2024 at 11:52 amWe have gradually built up her time there as she enjoys it so much. The updates throughout the pandemic was especially reassuring. The team ensured there were lots of photos of the kids’s daily activities on the app which was lovely to receive. They stayed in touch with great updates via email throughout.
The team are consistently exceptionally welcoming and approachable.
Our daughter recently transitioned to a new room and that worked highly smoothly. It was excellent that she had settling in times in the new room to get her used to it and the new team. Her speech and development have come on leaps and bounds and we delight in reading through her development frameworks that are shared in detail on the app too. Our daughter has been at this childcare centre for nearly a year now.

January 15, 2025 at 12:46 pmThe team consistently go above and beyond to assistance both our kids and us as parents. They offered excellent advice when we had concerns with our youngest kid’s speech, and with their help and assistance, we now have a little chatterbox on our hands with no sign of any delays in her speech development early on.
Our little girl loves going into ‘school’ each day and consistently leaves at the end of the day with a skip and a smile. After my first daughter attended Co-op Childcare Carterton we were never in any doubt about our second daughter attending.

January 15, 2025 at 3:02 pmThey have been outstanding with supporting him which has shown with the improvement in his behaviour. We are also highly cheerful with the discovering setting as he consistently comes up telling us the new things he has learnt for the day and how much enjoyable he has had doing it. Finally, I truly appreciate the amount of time the kids seem to spend in the garden as our son loves going outside and with full time working from home, its not consistently easy for us to get out with him during the week! The team have been outstanding with our son who has had some behavioral problems at preschool.

January 29, 2025 at 5:41 pmHer key person, the management and all team who work with her have worked so hard to help her settle in. She was highly reluctant to start with as she hadn’t been away from me much since she was born. All of the team were exceptional with her and took the time to help her. They kept me up to date with her day to also put my mind at ease.
She literally runs to any member of team who come to greet us in reception. The childcare centre keep me up to date with her development and next steps so that I can help her development at home too. The team plan excellent activities with the kids each day and the facility and resources are highly engaging for the kids. The childcare centre opens until 18:30 which is also a huge benefit for my work situation as I need slightly later childcare. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for three months and absolutely loves going.

January 31, 2025 at 11:17 pmMy son truly loves coming to childcare centre now to explore and make connections with other kids his age. The app is exceptional for a parent to see the up-to-date info. I especially adore seeing what my kid has eaten, it gives me inspiration on meals at home. Truly lovely welcoming team in all 3 rooms my kid has transitioned through.

March 26, 2025 at 3:11 pmOrganised playtime is imaginative and engaging. I sense that overall the childcare centre’s response to Covid has been great. During Covid times I have felt less connected with the team as handover now takes place in the foyer, but it was nice to be able to see what my son has been up to through the parent app. I consistently delight in seeing pictures of him having a great time. My son likes the team and I am cheerful that he is looked after well and enjoys his time there.

He has learnt so much, becoming confident in forming relationships, with his speech and trying new things and he has also learned to be independent. The team have hugely helped with ditching his dummy and providing their recommendations which we have mirrored at home and this has been a huge success! The activities are varied and keep the kids occupied and they regularly feedback about my son’s favourite interests. I highly suggest this childcare centre. My son began attending this childcare centre when he was just over 2 years old.

April 7, 2025 at 10:28 amAs parents, we couldn’t ask for a better setting for her to learn and thrive. All the team and management are incredible, there isn’t a time of a day I can’t contact them, they are consistently on hand to assistance us and give advice. They’ve been incredible with supporting our daughter throughout her delayed speech development stages and her potty training days. Our daughter’s key worker is lovely and our little girl loves all the other team in her room, she is consistently smiling on a drop off when she sees the team and even happier on a pick up after a full day of stimulating activities, garden playtime and enjoyable with her friends. We just had our second kid and already can’t wait to book our next place for her to attend the childcare centre when she is old enough as we know she will be in the best hands possible. Thank you for everything you are doing. Keep up the excellent job. Our little girl has been at the childcare centre since 1-year-old and recently moved up to preschool.

April 16, 2025 at 11:20 amAll the team are incredible with him, he clearly loves them as he’s consistently so cheerful when I see him in his room and the interaction he has with them all.
Just lately he went from being so easy to drop off to a little bit more clingy to me due to his age I think and a phase! But the room manager and the rest of the girls in the room constantly helped with this and truly worked with my boy to help him settle in quickly! He now is so much better! As a mum, this was so reassuring for me that my boy is in the best care when away from me – so for that I’m so grateful.
Also, all the different activities and enjoyable playtime they do is excellent – all the updates on the app are incredible and again I adore seeing my boy so cheerful!
I would 100% suggest the childcare centre to anyone thinking of sending their kid here. My 20-month-old son has been going to this childcare centre since he was about 6 months old.

My daughter runs in in the mornings and drags her heels when we have to go home at the end of the day, which is obviously a testament to how cheerful she is there and the enjoyable she has during the day. I would, and do often, highly suggest the childcare centre to anyone I know and work with. Between my two kids, we have been at the Co-op Childcare Carterton branch for seven years.

I know he will truly miss it. We will definitely be using it again in the future. Our son has attended this childcare centre since he was one and is leaving shortly to start reception.

They seem to come up with excellent activities to keep the kids occupied and think about the interests that my kid has in particular. The team at the Carterton Co-op Childcare Day Childcare centre work incredibly hard and come up with such lovely ideas, to help families.
