Co-op Childcare Carterton

My first son attended this nursery and because he enjoyed it so much, I didn’t even consider a different one for my second. The care and education they give is amazing. I look forward to seeing what’s been happening during his day through the photos and information logged on the app. The food is varied, healthy and lovingly made by the Chef. Overall this is a super nursery, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, offering fantastic value for money – I would absolutely recommended this nursery to other parents.

After my first daughter attended Co-op Childcare Carterton we were never in any doubt about our second daughter attending.
The staff always go above and beyond to support both our children and us as parents. They offered great advice when we had concerns with our youngest child’s speech, and with their help and support, we now have a little chatterbox on our hands with no sign of any delays in her speech development early on.
Our little girl loves going into ‘school’ each day and always leaves at the end of the day with a skip and a smile.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for three months and absolutely loves going. Her key person, the management and all staff who work with her have worked so hard to help her settle in. She was very reluctant to start with as she hadn’t been away from me much since she was born. All of the staff were brilliant with her and took the time to help her. They kept me up to date with her day to also put my mind at ease.
She literally runs to any member of staff who come to greet us in reception. The nursery keep me up to date with her development and next steps so that I can help her progress at home too. The staff plan great activities with the children each day and the facility and resources are very engaging for the children. The nursery opens until 18:30 which is also a huge benefit for my work situation as I need slightly later childcare.

Between my two children, we have been at the Co-op Childcare Carterton branch for seven years. The staff – specifically the management – are amazing. My daughter runs in in the mornings and drags her heels when we have to go home at the end of the day, which is obviously a testament to how happy she is there and the fun she has during the day. I would, and do often, highly recommend the nursery to anyone I know and work with.

My daughter has loved every single day of nursery. She has learnt so much, become so confident and independent and has made great relationships with all the staff.
Within weeks, her key person started and helped us crack potty training, ditching her dummy and eating lots of different foods she would normally turn down.
I have only positive things to say of our experience. Would absolutely recommend.

I have twin boys that have started attending nursery this year and they couldn’t have settled in any better, I was very happy with the transition of them only being at home through Covid lockdowns and only seeing two adults and no other children to attending nursery. They absolutely love attending nursery and have big smiles when they see the staff. Staff are very caring and go above and beyond every day. They give us such brilliant updates throughout the day of what the little ones have been up to and make suggestions on what to practice at home to help engage the child and support their development. One of my children has a disability, which was a really scary time for us and concerning thinking how he would cope in nursery, but my mind was quickly put at ease when I saw how diligent they were and I know now I made the right decision to send him to this nursery. Very happy with everything and highly recommend it to any parent.

My daughter has settled so well at the nursery and the staff go out of their way for the children. She absolutely adores every single one of them! Since starting nursery a few months ago my daughter’s development has come on so much and most importantly I know she is happy and well looked after there which makes my working day that little bit easier. The nursery have put on special little events to really make the parents feel involved, such as food tasting evenings, parent’s evening and a tea party. I highly recommend this nursery.

My 20-month-old son has been going to this nursery since he was about 6 months old. All the staff are amazing with him, he clearly loves them as he’s always so happy when I see him in his room and the interaction he has with them all.
Just lately he went from being so easy to drop off to a little bit more clingy to me due to his age I think and a phase! But the room manager and the rest of the girls in the room constantly helped with this and really worked with my boy to help him settle in quickly! He now is so much better! As a mum, this was so reassuring for me that my boy is in the best care when away from me – so for that I’m so grateful.
Also, all the different activities and fun play they do is great – all the updates on the app are amazing and again I love seeing my boy so happy!
I would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone thinking of sending their child here.

Really lovely friendly staff in all 3 rooms my child has transitioned through. My son really loves coming to nursery now to explore and make connections with other children his age. The app is brilliant for a parent to see the up-to-date info. I especially love seeing what my child has eaten, it gives me inspiration on meals at home.

My son has been going to this nursery since September 2021. Management, key workers and staff in general are all friendly and kind, nothing is ever too much. My son settled in quickly and he absolutely loves going to nursery, sometimes cries if I pick him up early (I think he feels like he’s missing out!). I can’t thank the Co-op Nursery Carterton enough for being part of my boy’s journey and helping him grow. He’s leaving such a different boy to what he started as, and he’ll definitely miss everyone when he leaves this month as he’s going to big school in September. We will never forget you all. Thank you for being such a big part of our lives, the help and kindness shown and for helping our little boy to grow, shine and flourish. A nursery definitely recommended.
