April 16, 2019 at 12:00 amSuch a lovely nursery. My children have been here over one year now. My cousin told us about the nursery as her two kids attended as well.
The staff are brilliant and fantastic. Would recommend this nursery.
We are hoping to move house soon further out but I will still be keeping my daughter at this nursery as she has settled down here so nicely and loves attending.
Carry on the good work.

April 18, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending the nursery since she was nine months old and has progressed through the classes/groups and she has loved every minute of being there and is always looking forward to going there.

September 6, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She has been attending nursery from nine months old and has enjoyed it since day one. I feel assured that she is well looked after and engaged with on an individual basis.
She has recently started wearing glasses at an early age and the nursery staff have encouraged her every step of the way – not easy with a toddler!
She is a veggie and well-fed, often going back for thirds.

January 15, 2020 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending for a year now and is excited about going every day. He has come out of his shell and made friends. He absolutely loves the staff (including an apparently imaginary one lol) and they seem to love him too.

January 20, 2020 at 12:00 amElmscot Day Nursery & Nursery School Chester has been a wonderful setting for the development of my daughter. She has been given the opportunity to explore and learn in the way that suits her personality, for example, the staff ensure she has plenty of opportunities for sensory, messy play because she loves it! She enjoys water play and themed messy play – the staff try to ensure she has the opportunity to do this most days she is at nursery.
The staff are warm and I have had no concerns leaving my daughter in their care. She happily starts around 8am, waving her Dad off and jumping straight in to play with her friends. Then when she is collected she is always smiling and enjoys inviting us into the nursery setting – she is always content, at ease and comfortable with all the staff in her room.

February 27, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending Elmscot since he was 9-months-old. He is now nearly two. He loves it! He feels safe, loves the team and has heaps of fun. The team are brilliant, very kind patient and willing to go that extra mile.
The facilities have recently been refurbished, and the team continue to maintain the building to a high standard. The nursery is so clean.
Our son is rarely ill, and I’m sure it’s because the nursery is so clean.
The outdoor space is considerably large for an inner-city setting.
The children go outside every day, if not twice a day. The food is lovely, fresh and locally sourced. The menu is varied and continually changed with very little repetition. Nappies/pampers changed frequently. Our son is cared for in nursery as much as we would care for him at home. The management and finance team are always at the end of the phone. Location is convenient for the train station or working in and out of town.

March 5, 2020 at 12:00 amI always have a cheery welcome at the nursery, the staff are so friendly, polite, obviously well trained and have a wonderful relationship with the children relating to their needs and the beginning of their education. My grandson has developed well, his speech is coming along which helps with recognition and communication. His skills in using his hands with the artwork he does, role-playing games, singing and dancing have definitely increased due to his day at the nursery.
The nursery is very clean, (shoes off in the baby room), newly renovated, and money has been spent on the premises, obviously well-planned to which rooms needed work doing. I love to see these Victorian schools in full use, history is very important to keep and cherish.
Parking outside is great for drop off and pick up and there is a locked shed near the door where you can put your pushchair for the day if you are walking to and from the nursery.

March 5, 2020 at 12:00 amMy child has attended the nursery since he was seven months old, my daughter is now also attending. My son loves going and has made lots of friends. He enjoys the different ranges of activities, such as forest school and the class visits they have. The nursery is a very clean and safe environment for the children and learning is promoted through a variety of techniques, so they don’t realise they are learning as they think they are playing.

October 4, 2022 at 12:00 amMy eldest started here in 2018 and youngest in 2020. The staff are very friendly and are interested in learning about home life and incorporating child’s likes into their activities. The outdoor space is great they have a large playground and forest school area too with hammock, swing and bug hotel. Both my children have loved being here and their individual needs catered for, they both run in and have a great time and often ask to go at the weekend! Car park to park at drop off and pick up as well as storage for buggies. Very close to train and bus station. Would 100% recommend.

November 30, 2022 at 12:00 amThis nursery is truly amazing, my little boy loves attending 4 days a week and has made amazing bonds with all staff in the building. All the staff within the building have got time to speak to you and truly care for all the children.
There’s no other place I would take my child and all the learning that is going on is showing an input into his learning and behaviour.
I am going to be truly gutted when he leaves in September as the nursery has been a big part of his life.
The partnership with parents is amazing we have just had a meet the team meeting where we got to look at our child’s room and also get a look into what they are learning and also what they are aiming for with the children, lots of great ideas and support was given for different things we can do with our children and want to go that extra mile to get to support them for their next adventure.
Management are amazing and are very quick at responding to any queries you have and will help you with whatever they can.

December 7, 2022 at 12:00 amI highly recommend it!
My daughter started in April 2022 and quickly adapted. To this day she still wakes up excited about the day ahead of her. The nursery is beautiful and the programs are amazing: my daughter loves forest school, outside visits, yoga and of course all the reading, singing and etc.
The staff are incredible: they are so dedicated, so attentive and you can tell they love what they do. My daughter is obsessed with her carers, at first it was one carer and now she changed rooms so she is crazy about another carer. She made many friends and loves all the big play areas. The outside area is fantastic but she also loves the common room.
I love how clean and organized they are. I love how they stimulate free play while still engaging in learning. The communication with the team is superb and I never had any issues or complaints. They always listen and are willing to help.
The manager is very helpful, polite and caring, always working hard to assist staff, parents and kids.

December 27, 2022 at 12:00 amAfter having my daughter in May 2020 – I definitely noticed the impact of her being born in a lockdown and spending the first year of her life not being around any other people apart from her parents. She found being away from me incredibly difficult. She had done a few months with a childminder where she never fully settled and then we moved areas. I rang around a number of nurseries where I explained how hard she had found it; only to be told she was likely just being manipulative. That was until I rang Elmscot Chester Day Nursery, where I was met with a completely different attitude. I was reassured that we could move slowly with settling in, how they would support her with the process and then invited in for a look around.
I went for a look around and was blown away with the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, open-ended play, activities and the overall compassion. I had such a good feeling that I signed up the next day and completed all the forms.
My daughter also has a number of allergies.
