To this day she still wakes up excited about the day ahead of her. The childcare centre is lovely and the programs are incredible: my daughter loves forest school, outside visits, yoga and of course all the reading, singing and etc.
The team are incredible: they are so dedicated, so attentive and you can tell they adore what they do. My daughter is obsessed with her carers, at first it was one carer and now she changed rooms so she is crazy about another carer. She made many friends and loves all the big playtime areas. The outside area is remarkable but she also loves the common room.
I adore how spotless and organized they are. I adore how they stimulate free playtime while still engaging in discovering. The updates with the team is stellar and I never had any issues or complaints. They consistently listen and are willing to help.
The manager is very supportive, polite and attentive, consistently working hard to assist team, parents and kids. I highly suggest it!
My daughter started in April 2022 and quickly adapted.

My grandson has developed well, his speech is coming along which helps with recognition and updates. His skills in using his hands with the artwork he does, role-playing games, singing and dancing have definitely increased due to his day at the childcare centre.
The childcare centre is very spotless, (shoes off in the baby room), newly renovated, and money has been spent on the premises, obviously well-planned to which rooms needed work doing. I adore to see these Victorian schools in full use, history is very important to keep and cherish.
Parking outside is excellent for drop off and pick up and there is a locked shed near the door where you can put your pushchair for the day if you are walking to and from the childcare centre. I consistently have a cheery welcome at the childcare centre, the team are so welcoming, polite, obviously well trained and have a fantastic relationship with the kids relating to their needs and the beginning of their education.

The team are very welcoming and are interested in discovering about home life and incorporating kid’s likes into their activities. The outdoor space is excellent they have a large playground and forest school area too with hammock, swing and bug hotel. Both my kids have loved being here and their individual needs catered for, they both run in and have a excellent time and often ask to go at the weekend! Car park to park at drop off and pick up as well as storage for buggies. Very close to train and bus station. Would 100% suggest. My eldest started here in 2018 and youngest in 2020.

My son loves going and has made lots of friends. He enjoys the different ranges of activities, such as forest school and the class visits they have. The childcare centre is a very spotless and secure setting for the kids and discovering is promoted through a variety of techniques, so they don’t realise they are discovering as they think they are playing. My kid has attended the childcare centre since he was seven months old, my daughter is now also attending.

My kids have been here over one year now. My cousin told us about the childcare centre as her two kids attended as well.
The team are exceptional and remarkable. Would suggest this childcare centre.
We are hoping to move house soon further out but I will still be keeping my daughter at this childcare centre as she has settled down here so nicely and loves attending.
Carry on the great work. Such a lovely childcare centre.

She has been attending childcare centre from nine months old and has enjoyed it since day one. I sense assured that she is well looked after and engaged with on an individual basis.
She has recently started wearing glasses at an early age and the childcare centre team have encouraged her every step of the way – not easy with a toddler!
She is a veggie and well-fed, often going back for thirds. My daughter absolutely loves going to childcare centre.

She has been given the opportunity to explore and learn in the way that suits her personality, for example, the team ensure she has plenty of opportunities for sensory, messy playtime because she loves it! She enjoys water playtime and themed messy playtime – the team try to ensure she has the opportunity to do this most days she is at childcare centre.
The team are inviting and I have had no concerns leaving my daughter in their care. She happily starts around 8am, waving her Dad off and jumping straight in to playtime with her friends. Then when she is collected she is consistently smiling and enjoys inviting us into the childcare centre setting – she is consistently content, at ease and comfortable with all the team in her room. Elmscot Day Nursery & Nursery School Chester has been a fantastic setting for the development of my daughter.

My daughter has been attending the childcare centre since she was nine months old and has progressed through the classes/groups and she has loved every minute of being there and is consistently looking forward to going there.

He is now nearly two. He loves it! He feels secure, loves the team and has heaps of enjoyable. The team are exceptional, very compassionate patient and willing to go that extra mile.
The facilities have recently been refurbished, and the team continue to maintain the building to a high standard. The childcare centre is so spotless.
Our son is rarely ill, and I’m sure it’s because the childcare centre is so spotless.
The outdoor space is considerably large for an inner-city setting.
The kids go outside every day, if not twice a day. The food is lovely, fresh and locally sourced. The menu is varied and continually changed with very little repetition. Nappies/pampers changed frequently. Our son is cared for in childcare centre as much as we would care for him at home. The management and finance team are consistently at the end of the phone. Location is convenient for the train station or working in and out of town. My son has been attending Elmscot since he was 9-months-old.

He has come out of his shell and made friends. He absolutely loves the team (including an apparently imaginary one lol) and they seem to adore him too. Our son has been attending for a year now and is excited about going every day.

All the team within the building have got time to speak to you and truly care for all the kids.
There’s no other place I would take my kid and all the discovering that is going on is showing an input into his discovering and behaviour.
I am going to be truly gutted when he leaves in September as the childcare centre has been a big part of his life.
The partnership with parents is incredible we have just had a meet the team meeting where we got to look at our kid’s room and also get a look into what they are discovering and also what they are aiming for with the kids, lots of excellent ideas and assistance was given for different things we can do with our kids and want to go that extra mile to get to assistance them for their next adventure.
Management are incredible and are very quick at responding to any queries you have and will help you with whatever they can. This childcare centre is truly incredible, my little boy loves attending 4 days a week and has made incredible bonds with all team in the building.

She found being away from me incredibly difficult. She had done a few months with a childminder where she never fully settled and then we moved areas. I rang around a number of nurseries where I explained how hard she had found it; only to be told she was likely just being manipulative. That was until I rang Elmscot Chester Day Nursery, where I was met with a completely different attitude. I was reassured that we could move slowly with settling in, how they would assistance her with the process and then invited in for a look around.
I went for a look around and was blown away with the cleanliness, friendliness of team, open-ended playtime, activities and the overall compassion. I had such a great feeling that I signed up the next day and completed all the forms.
My daughter also has a number of allergies. After having my daughter in May 2020 – I definitely noticed the impact of her being born in a lockdown and spending the first year of her life not being around any other people apart from her parents.
