Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford Day Nursery and Preschool

I had two ideas that I wanted met when placing my daughter into a childcare centre due to work commitments in 2020. First, I wanted my baby girl to be cheerful, second, I needed to ensure she would be secure – even more so due to Covid and starting in 2020, it was a must! I viewed multiple nurseries in the local areas, but not one came close to the level of cleanliness of Springfield Lodge and instantly my little girl’s face lit up. The toys are spotless, high quality and educational, even in the baby rooms. My girl is now in preschool at Springfield Lodge and I wish they could extend the year for school holidays, as my girl loves it here. Sidenote, my little girl has been kept secure and covid free for two years, whilst attending for full days 3 days, a week, 52 weeks a year! The care, adore and assistance the childcare centre show to my little girl and us family members is beyond any hopes I had. It really feels like a home from home and an extended family with team. I cannot rate Springfield Lodge enough!

The facilities are excellent. Incredible outdoor space. My daughter had no trouble settling in and loves it. Both our kid and we sense secure and well cared for. Team are hardworking and approachable. The open line of updates between parents and team is exceptional – I couldn’t live without the app which tells us everything happening in real time. The manager is very dedicated and organised. There are procedures in place for everything, which are followed well. We are extremely lucky to have found this childcare centre and to have had such an easy registration process at fairly short notice and without having to be put on a waiting list. It was daunting placing our first kid into childcare centre, especially during the pandemic, but the childcare centre made it easy and we felt reassured at all times. Our daughter is bilingual and this is handled very well. I would happily place my future kids there! My daughter started attending in September 2021 and will attend until she starts school in September 2023.

It’s a big childcare centre which is excellent as it will prepare them for primary school. The childcare centre is very great at taking on feedback and the kids adore the team members there. All the kids seem very cheerful including my little one! Such a lovely childcare centre with excellent outdoor space for the kids.

Management have consistently been very informative of how the childcare centre is run and key workers have been outstanding in providing feedback at the end of the day and via the app with how well my son is getting on and developing as a pre-schooler. I sense they consistently set a great example and have shaped him into a well-rounded and educated kid so he is well equipped for his next chapter into primary school. I have found Springfield Lodge to be a fantastic childcare centre, taking excellent care of my son’s interests, development, and best needs.

She found leaving me hard at first but every single team member has been so compassionate, inviting and welcoming to her. They really make her sense at home and encourage her. You can tell they really care about the kids and do everything they can to ensure they have a great day. They are consistently able to tell me all about what my daughter has been up to, eaten, toilet trips, who she plays with etc. I drive away feeling content that my daughter is in the best hands. My daughter has been attending Springfield Lodge since February.

My little one’s development has gone from strength to strength since joining. They come home reporting all activities that they have done throughout the day, telling me they have had enjoyable. I know all their meals are freshly prepared on-site and are nutritionally balanced. Their social skills have also improved and I sense secure that they are cheerful, secure and cared for while I am at work. The team are really giving my little one the best start and preparation for their next steps in their education/school journey. I can’t suggest them enough. The manager and her team at Bright Horizons, Springfield Lodge Dartford, in my humble opinion and journey, are simply incredible.

My daughter is 10 months and has just started here, they offered settling in sessions for her and she really enjoyed them, the team have made her sense comfortable and secure she has been getting more and more used to being at the childcare centre for longer days. She loves the food and having a kitchen on site was a huge draw when we were picking a childcare centre for her. They have a huge open space for the kids, and a smaller space for the babies but it’s still more than big enough for them and they can use the wider space when the bigger kids aren’t running around too much. My daughter has had an opportunity to mix with lots of different babies and kids which will help her development and will get her used to being around lots of kids and other adults in the run up to going to school. They offer so much more for her than I could ever provide at home and she really enjoys herself when she’s there. I’d highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. I’ve had a excellent journey with this childcare centre.

She made the transition from another Bright Horizons branch to this one, when we moved house. The team made it very easy for us, as parents to change her over but also made my daughter sense incredibly welcome, to the point she barely needed a settling-in period, she was so cheerful to go in. Recently, my daughter has qualified for the thirty hours of funding and the childcare centre supported us with the required paperwork and were able to offer us an extra day too. As I am a key worker myself, my daughter has continued going to childcare centre in this most recent lockdown and the childcare centre have facilitated a day change in order to ensure my daughter is in childcare on my busiest days at work. This was hassle-free and easy to arrange with the manager. Making it so easy at such a difficult time, has been greatly appreciated. My daughter is very cheerful at childcare centre and jumps out of the car every day with a smile and waves me off. My daughter has been attending Springfield Lodge for eighteen months.

Comes home each day and does not stop talking about what she has done that day.
The team attend to her needs extremely well and all I see from her is progression. She’s come on leaps and bounds. We are regularly updated by team as to what she’s doing and asked if there’s anything they want us to work on with her, development-wise.
Cannot fault the team at all. I have regularly recommended this childcare centre to others. My daughter has been at Bright Horizons, Springfield Lodge since she was 8 months old and absolutely loves it.
