Having a child returning happy from nursery gives us confidence that our child is amongst a caring environment. Thank you to the staff that have worked tirelessly through the year.

December 28, 2022 at 12:00 amOur 8-month-old baby has been at nursery full-time for a month now and we are absolutely thrilled with our nursery choice. The staff are wonderful people, so kind, caring and professional. We were won over initially by the facilities on viewing the nursery, in particular the huge garden, but the ethos and shared values also make it stand above other nurseries. The nursery is in a large character building but the individual rooms are very much a home-from-home. The app is fantastic and keeps us up to date with key information throughout the day (food eaten, bottles, naps, nappies). It’s been very reassuring to check in on the app and see that our baby is getting along fine. The staff have been very responsive to our baby’s needs and have been quick to raise concerns about our baby’s health (colds etc.). Most importantly, our little one is happy and relaxed when dropped off in the morning and also on collection, it’s clear that a good day has been had.

The staff are so kind and caring and all the children seem so happy and comfortable there. Such a beautiful setting with great facilities and a wonderful ethos. Love being kept up to date with the app and seeing all the wonderful things my daughter gets up to.

March 22, 2023 at 12:00 amI can’t speak highly enough of Bright Horizons, Basingstoke Copper Beeches. My daughter has attended the nursery for the past three years since it opened and she loves it. The staff are friendly, professional and caring. The nursery has excellent outdoor space which is utilised every day. My daughter has made so many friends and learns something new every day and the nursery has given her so much confidence and early years education, to start school in September. Highly recommend this nursery and all the staff

March 28, 2023 at 12:00 amOur baby has been in the baby room for a few months now. She has settled in well due to the amazing staff who work with the babies. They have been amazingly kind, patient and friendly when it came to settling our baby in and continuing to build up to longer days. The staff have supported us in getting her used to taking a bottle and we have felt very happy with each day she spends with them. They really do get to know your child very well. The app is brilliant and allows you to see what activities the babies have been doing such as food, nappy changes and bottle feeds. The staff also send regular pictures and progress updates to you via the app, which is so welcome when you’re back to working and missing your little one during the day. It always makes us smile. The staff at this nursery are incredible and so understanding. They really do go out of their way to support you and your child. We think all the staff of the baby room are amazing, especially two members of staff in particular!

March 28, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have tried three nurseries and two childminders and this is the best place by miles.
Staff are always helpful, open, friendly and accommodating. They play and make fun with kids.
Children can bring their own toys and belongings, but staff will always make sure these are safe (we had a toy with a camera function which was immediately checked and friendly staff convinced our child to put it in a safe place). We can see progress in development on daily basis but everything is also recorded and monitored with plenty of photos and updates. You can easily check what and how much your child has eaten when.
Food is made fresh on-site and tailored to suit needs and requirements (dietary and allergies).
Kids have plenty of room to play and the whole facility is always clean and tidy and the garden! Huge open space, divided into sections by age where kids can safely play and learn gardening.
Wet outside? No problem as many areas are filled with artificial grass so they can only get wet.

March 28, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started a couple of weeks ago and I am so impressed with the level of care and attention that goes towards the children. She absolutely loves going to nursery and tells everyone she can about what she does on a daily basis. The staff are so friendly and welcoming you can really see that they have a passion for what they do. I really love the variety of activities they are able to do and love how much time they can spend outside. I regularly check the app and like that I can see what she’s doing and how her day is going without having to worry. I am so happy I chose Bright Horizons, Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and
Preschool, and have already recommended to friends that also have children.

April 7, 2023 at 12:00 amI have the pleasure of sending my child to this nursery and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure my child felt safe and comfortable, especially when settling into his new room. The facilities are fantastic, with plenty of toys, games and activities to keep the children engaged and learning. The outdoor area is also wonderful, providing a safe and fun space for the children to run around and explore.
The nursery’s curriculum is fantastic, with a great balance of educational activities and playtime. My child really enjoys his time there. I highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a positive, nurturing and educational environment for their little one.

She started with a beautiful and very down-to-earth post that made us feel confident and closer to the staff. She is very professional and friendly at the same time. We have been extremely happy with the room staff. They are all hardworking, loving and caring people that make me feel safe knowing that the most important thing in my life (my baby) is safe and happy.

June 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started here in 2021 and from day one the staff have been amazing. They are friendly, helpful and supportive. There is also a large amount of communication between the staff and parents, which is really reassuring.
The nursery itself is light and spacious. The rooms are clean and well organised for each age group. The gardens are huge with a mud kitchen, water play, bikes and scooters. Babies have a lovely shady separate garden, which my son enjoys.
My daughter’s key person is knowledgeable and has helped my daughter with her speech and to prepare for school. The new manager has already made some welcomed changes including introducing a calm corner which my daughter loves. She is also incredibly approachable and helpful.
The meals are great too, they are healthy and varied and my children actually eat them! They also have a children’s kitchen with everything at the children’s height which is a great addition. All in all, it’s a great nursery.

July 4, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have two children who attend Bright Horizons Basingstoke Copper Beeches Day Nursery and Preschool and we find that their key workers and other care staff to be very helpful, caring and supportive. They have assisted my eldest to transition into their nursery really well and have contributed to making her feel safe. Two members of staff have been supporting her during drop-off at this current time as she has been struggling with separation anxiety.
My youngest son has gone through two diagnoses during his time at the nursery and his baby room staff and key worker and another member of staff have been very supportive during this anxious time. Everyone has been very accommodating to his medical care plans and makes us feel safe and secure to leave him in the nurseries care.
We have noticed positive changes already since the manager’s arrival and have enjoyed seeing the staff recognition praises. We have also noticed the addition of calm corners and yoga which our daughter enjoys as it promotes being healthy.

I have got a strict napping routine during the day for my child to help me fix our night sleep and the nursery has been super understanding and supportive. The caregivers are so attentive to my child’s needs and developmental milestones; my baby comes home happy, well fed and with good adequate physical tiredness.

Main Pros – super staff and great facilities (air-con yoga/playroom to visit, play kitchen)
Main Cons- not every room has an area conducive to sleep for naps, some meals aren’t popular and given quite frequently (e.g. soup).

July 24, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have been so impressed with the changes that the manager has implemented since she took over management of the nursery. The passion that she has for the nursery, staff and children really translates into the creative activities and positivity of the staff. The children now have a yoga room and the kitchen has been reopened so the children can experiment with food.
The manager has created a culture that allows you to voice your opinions if you have any concerns or questions and they are always quickly actioned.
I cannot give enough praise to another staff member who has so much passion, love and care for the children. She is an excellent key worker and is one of the main reasons why our son has settled in so quickly.
The atmosphere and creativity that one staff member in particular fosters within baby room 1, ensures that the children are always having fun (water play, crafts, observations, building). The only real opportunities for improvement would be more outside time because the gardens are so great. Thank you!

August 16, 2023 at 12:00 amI really can not put into words the incredible experience I have had since the moment I called to enquire about a tour to now.
My daughter spent five sessions at another nursery and the experience was terrible and I’ll say no more on that matter.
I called and spoke to the nursery manager in desperate need really and she was and always has been so supportive, accommodating and in general amazing!
From the moment we went to see the nursery and meet the staff we knew it was the one and I feel truly blessed to have my daughter attending this nursery.
My daughter has just turned two and all of the staff in the toddler room has been incredible with her! Nothing is ever too much and my daughter has really progressed in so many ways with confidence, speech and behaviour.
The app that the nursery uses is great, works effectively and gives me as a Mum piece of mind and an insight to my daughter’s day when I’m missing her so much!

August 22, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has developed so much since starting at this nursery. We feel connected with his development at all times be it through photos, app updates or communication with his carers. The staff are all great and he has made some good connections with those who look after him. There were some changes this year which have been positive and seem to have benefitted the staff, the parents, and the children.
