Banana Moon Day Nursery Hyde

Staff caring and listen well. Range and frequency of different activities are excellent. Great location, green place and reduced pollution, spacious rooms and not overcrowded. Staff focused on learning – evident is child’s progress both academically and emotionally.
Negative – feel a bit detached as of care, but due to covid restrictions entering the building.

We came to Banana Moon after being unhappy with our previous choice for our daughter (10 months at the time). Now, nearly 6 months later we have never looked back. She loves coming to nursery and is always welcomed with big smiles by the staff. Her development has come on leaps and bounds and we are so happy we chose to come here.

This has to be the best nursery I have ever seen or been to. The support both for your child and family support is astonishing. I was so so worried about putting my son in and was constantly ringing up every 10 seconds to see if he was okay. The team were so supportive and would reassure me he was okay and add a picture to his app as a visual response, to ensure I could feel confident with what they were saying. My son struggled with eating and wouldn’t eat finger food, therefore the nursery made a plan to slowly start introducing finger foods. Now he eats like every other child. They always provided me with information about any falls or accidents he had (which was very rare as the team always have their eye on the children), the call always started with don’t worry, it’s nothing to worry about, which instantly put me at ease. I’m so sad I’ve moved from the area and had to take my son out. As soon as I start driving I will be putting him straight back in. Highly recommended. Kind regards.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since January. From the first day, she has absolutely loved it! The activities on offer are brilliant and the children are always playing outside and doing fun things. The food provided is homemade and delicious, my daughter often has more than one portion. The staff are excellent and very caring. My daughter has little speech at nearly 3 years old and I cannot fault the support the nursery has given to her to encourage her to develop this. The nursery provides excellent care and I could not be more happy to leave my little girl in this nursery.

My little boy started his nursery at five months old; he is now leaving at the age of four. We’ve both loved our experience with Banana Moon Day Nursery Hyde. He has learnt so much and even asks to come at the weekends. The staff and management have always been so helpful. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

Overall I think this is an amazing nursery and my two boys love it! The staff in there are all great and couldn’t thank them enough for everything they do! Baby moons & mini moons you have made my boy’s journeys a blast for them!

Absolutely brilliant. My daughter loves it there, the staff are really friendly and the rooms have so many fun things in there for the kids. Can’t fault this nursery at all! They send pictures of the meals through the app and my daughter loves the food. She is always coming home doing new things that she’s done at nursery. She starts her 15 hours in January 2023 and I cannot wait to see her development after that, she’s only in one afternoon a week at present and the things she has learned have truly amazed me.

Our son has attended Banana Moon in Hyde since September 2021. We have been so impressed. The staff are very attentive to the individual needs of the child. They did a great job of settling him in, as well as flagging to us when he was being quiet. They did some great one-to-one work with him to help come out of his shell. They also managed his transition from the baby room to the toddler room brilliantly when he turned two. They give really helpful feedback to parents and are incredibly open to feedback. On the rare occasions that we’ve raised a small issue, the staff have responded positively to address this and always been clear that they welcome all feedback so they can do the best for each child. We could not have chosen anywhere better for our son, we would recommend this nursery highly.
We also love the outside space, being on the park and away from the main road means children can play safely in wide open space without inhaling the fumes from cars on the road.

So impressed with this nursery, best nursery by far! My 2-year-old goes to this nursery, my twins have just started this week doing 2 full days. My twins are 9 months old and I am over the moon. They are clingy babies and the staff there have made me feel so at ease, the one thing that other nurseries don’t have is the updating of the app, which shows all activities and pictures of your child through the day. It makes it so much easier when you can see your babies having such a good time at the nursery. I can’t thank the staff enough. They treat and love the kids like their own. I have never ever had an issue with this nursery. My little girl loves it and so do my twins who have already formed lovely bonds with the nursery workers. I have worked in nurseries before and this is by far the best. I know they are in safe and loving hands.
This in my eyes is definitely an outstanding nursery! Thank you to all the staff who make an effort every single day and care for our children.
