Room Leader

We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our lovely Nursery based in Deptford. Our nursery caters for up to 115 children daily and is currently rated as Good by Ofsted. We are in a purpose built Nursery, all on 1 level with a lovely garden suitable for all weathers. The role is based in the Preschool. The working pattern is full time (across 4 or 5 days). There is local free parking and great public transport links (buses and trains).

As a Nursery Room Leader your role will include;

- Being part of a friendly team
- Having a group of key children, responsible for planning and completing observations via Iconnect
- Making sure the children have a safe, fun and great learning environment
- Building positive relationships by engaging and interacting with the children, staff and families
- Supervising up to 3 Practitioners

To be considered for the role of Nursery Room Leader, you will need;

- Level 3 qualification in childcare
- Friendly, positive, and hard working attitude
- 2 years key worker experience as room leader or senior practitioner
- Know how to have fun!!
- Inspiring, motivating and encouraging supervisory approach
