Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

Nursery: Footsteps Atherstone Nursery and Pre-School.

Hours: Permanent | Monday – Friday I 30-40 hours per week

Location: CV9 2PA

This position is based in Ashleigh Nursery in Atherstone, Warwickshire. This purpose built nursery is based over two buildings with lots of outdoor space for the children to access, the nursery can support up to 70 children per day, offering great experiences for the children who attend.

Ashleigh has four nursery rooms, one for each stage of development, each has its own outside play area.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children

- Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children

- Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met

- Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development

- Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development

- To be fun, caring and friendly

- To promote a high-quality learning environment

What we need from you?

- Passion and commitment for working in childcare

- Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.00pm Monday to Friday working between 30 - 40 hours per week

- Commitment to continual development

- Have sound Knowledge of EYFS

- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 2 or 3, EY Educator
