Kindred Nurseries, has an opportunity for an inspiring and caring individual to join the team as a Nursery Apprentice. This would be an ideal position for somebody looking to start their career within the early years sector whilst learning a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare.

Earn while you learn - This is a full-time position (part-time hours available from 20 to 30 hours per week) requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 40 hours Monday to Friday. This role is offering an hourly rate of £6.40 with an extensive benefits package.

The key responsibilities for a Nursery Apprentice is to:

- Complete a relevant qualification within the agreed timeframe and develop professionally
- Learn all aspects of the Key Person role with the support of a mentor
- Have a shared responsibility for safeguarding, protect children, parents, and staff from harm
- Work as part of a supportive team
- Carry out Practitioner tasks with support and supervision

How Kindred will support you:

- We will assign you a mentor to support you and guide you through your qualification
- You will be enrolled onto a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Whilst you study towards your qualification, you will be given time for on-the-job training
- Your mentor will ensure that you understand and follow company Policies and Procedures
- The Nursery team will welcome you and help you to feel part of the Kindred family

To be successful for this role you should:

- Have a desire to learn about the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Framework)
- Be committed and dedicated to your career and the children in your care
- Have a positive, can-do attitude to problem solving
