Naturally Learning Charlestown

An amazing place for children to attend. The forest is a special place and I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for childcare.

My little boy loved Naturally Learning where he attended from 9 months old until he started school. I loved that he could be outside so much and he was well supported by the SEN team and referrals made to the Area SEN team and speech and language. His transition to school was great with the nursery visiting the primary school once a week. I loved the daily photos on the app so I could see what he was up to during the day. He loved his key worker and was always happy to go with the staff. He loved being able to light fires and cook snacks and sometimes lunch on the fire. Climbing trees and being able to risk assess during risky play helped with his physical development and self confidence. The children experience a proper childhood mud and all.

The nursery is lovely. The activities are always child lead and natural. The nursery is clean and cosy and welcoming and the Estate is great. The manager is always helpful and friendly. We love the nursery.

I love this nursery. The children are nurtured and cared for. When my children had chickenpox, we were supported all the way through. They remembered the children’s birthdays and made a big deal out of it when they came home from their weekend at a holiday park. My twins have made some great friends and look forward to going each day. When some children were not being very kind to my two, the nursery went above and beyond to reassure me all was being done to sort out the behaviour. My daughter has named all of her dolls after the nursery staff, she loves them that much. They spend their time in the forest, the beach and the garden, rarely indoors. They get good nutritional varied foods and are encouraged to try new things as well as having opportunities that would exist at no other nursery such as true forest skills. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Even with family safety issues, they went above and beyond to ensure my children’s safety and I couldn’t be more grateful!

We feel incredibly lucky that our daughter is able to attend this nursey. She absolutely loves it and thoroughly enjoys all of the activities both indoors and out. The team are fantastic, they are a great support, helpful, caring and honest and it is very easy to work with them to provide the best care and learning for your child.

Both my children really enjoy their time at nursery. The staff are all very kind and caring. I am so pleased I chose this nursery to send my precious little gems as they are at their happiest when they are outside exploring nature which is what this nursery is all about.

My 11-month-old son attends Charlestown nursery in the babies group. The team have such a welcoming vibe, they made me feel very comfortable considering my son was born in lockdown and hasn’t mingled with many people outside of the family. The activities the team do on a daily basis make it so worthwhile, getting muddy, painting with edible paint, all-natural resources for play, and lots of singing. The food is always colourful and healthy. The team have created such a family vibe, I feel like my son is spending his days with all of his aunts! Absolute amazing team. (The team are so well placed, so very polite and extremely loving) I give this nursery 5 stars!

My daughter adores this nursery, I moved her from another nursery due to needing more hours which Naturally Learning accommodated me very quickly!
I get constant updates when she is there, even down to what she eats and when.
If I have a question etc then I just message them on the app and they come back to me within half an hour every time.
I wouldn’t ever want her going anywhere else

My son loves going to Charlestown, he is always excited to go and always has a big smile on his face when I pick him up. He loves the outdoors and makes many observations when he comes out of school. The staff are lovely and are always so helpful.

Our daughter joined Charlestown nursery in March this year following a recent move to the area. We have been absolutely delighted with our choice – the staff in the baby room are fantastic; they are always warm, friendly and nurturing and find the time (and energy!) to talk to us about our child at the end of each day. We also love the ‘Famly’ app where the staff post updates and photos throughout the day so we can see exactly what activities the babies have been doing and what delicious food has been on the menu each day.

The photos are often quite candid and really make us laugh! Our daughter has grown so much in confidence in just a couple of months, she can’t wait to go to nursery and is so eager to leave the house in the morning! She is happy and tired at the end of a full day of stimulating activities and lots of fresh air so her sleep has improved too!
