Woosehill Day Nursery

The childcare centre has a lovely, warm and inviting culture and provides a truly wonderful space, where kids have great contact with nature, lots of outdoor activities including forest school, cooking school, and lots of different creative activities that are appropriate to their age. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time at the childcare centre and she built truly strong relationships with the personnel and her peers. I wholeheartedly suggest The Woosehill Day nursery setting, as a place where my young lady felt thrilled and secure. My young lady started in the baby room at one year old and has been at the Woosehill Day early‑years hub until she finished the pre-school room at age four. As a parent, I always felt supported and well informed about my daughter’s day in the childcare centre. Thank you to all and I’m sure she will come around, just to give you a hug. The manager and her personnel are committed, so nurturing and helpful and they provide little ones with so much support, attention and positivity.

We treasure that he gets to go to the park and on his woodland walks. They also have animals at the nursery setting which he adores. They are vigilant about answering the front door to anyone they don’t know and check with colleagues to identify parents or carers, which we feel are excellent standards to uphold. We are truly pleased we moved our little one to this nursery setting. All the crew seems to know my boy at the nursery setting and he adores attending. He has plenty of opportunities to activities indoor and outside too. We are really pleased with the early‑years hub and all their hard-working personnel – thank you for all you do. The online report we receive throughout the day about our little one is informative and reassuring. The team are all welcoming, approachable and respond to queries in a timely, knowledgeable and professional manner.

The variety of activities that are available to the little ones, help them to develop. They take an active interest in your child’s advancement and will work with you. I am especially pleased that they embrace the local surroundings and do weekly forest school sessions with the little ones. We have had both our sons go to this nursery setting, which has only enhanced since the current childcare centre manager has taken over.

My little boy started here at 14-months-old, and we are amazed to see how soon and how well he settled in there. I enjoy the way they brief me about him at the end of each morning. They even helped me on a bit which was not directly related to early‑years hub life. He goes in and comes out so delighted. Staff are wonderful; they actually care for him and do things with him. They are open to feedback and responds promptly. Thank you all there. I cannot suggest this place enough!

The activities they do are really well planned out and the recent school preparation she’s started is really thoroughly planned. This was really important to me as a parent. My girl has been attending Woosehill since she was 18 months. She’s moved through all 3 rooms and support in each has always been of a really high standard. She’s never downhearted to go to childcare centre – sometimes she wants to go on the weekends. The building is quite small but well laid out with a big garden area and mud kitchen. She enjoys every minute of it. The management is consistent and has been the same since she started. My little one adores the weekly forest walks.

Woosehill Day Nursery provides a family-style environment where each member of team knows the kids well. Our kid has an incredibly experienced and reliable key worker who knows the balance between activities and challenging youngsters to headway in their developmental areas. They try hard to create a variety of activities and respond accordingly to the children’s preferences. Special thanks go to our little one’s key worker – you are fantastic! I have every faith in the personnel – thank you!

My boy adores going to nursery setting and I’m so grateful to the personnel to have helped him become a assured, sociable boy who is now ready to start school in September. Woosehill Day Nursery is a wonderful early‑years hub. My young lad started aged 1 during the pandemic and I was amazed at how well he settled. I enthusiastically suggest this early‑years hub! The nursery setting really has a homely feel and I cherish that the youngsters spend a lot of time playing outside, be it on their woodland walks, or in the nursery’s garden which has remarkable shade throughout the day in summer. Full credit goes to the incredible crew who truly provide a loving, caring and fun space for all the little ones.

We would not hesitate to advocate this childcare centre to anyone looking for a ‘home from home’ space for their kid – while the building itself isn’t state of the art or ultra-modern, the wonderful crew and atmosphere they create cannot be faulted. Our little one has been attending Woosehill Day Nursery since he was 10 months old upon my return to work. We particularly treasure the ‘no bad weather, just bad clothes’ approach to letting the youngsters playtime outside – this means he gets plenty of fresh air and can roam happily. The more structured activities set up by crew are also brilliant for his progress, and it’s lovely to have updates on what he’s been doing via the app. The team are welcoming and nurturing, and they communicate really well with parents. He has settled in so well and really enjoys his time there.

Our kid is truly well looked after, enjoyed by the team and encouraged to grow and has formed such strong bonds with all the crew even though it has only been a few months. They have supported us as parents too with anything we needed in that time and always keep us updated with a weekly newsletter on what is happening the following week in each room of the early‑years hub. It really is a home away from home for our little one and we couldn’t ask for more. Both the management team and the personnel have been involved from day one in keeping us informed, making sure we are pleased with our child’s advancement and sending us daily updates through the app. This is an excellent early‑years hub with wonderful crew – my kid started at childcare centre in The Nest room for younger kids in March 2021 being just over 9 months old.

She has settled so well and is always so excited to go inside. It’s lovely to see how delighted she is and to see regular updates with photos as she learns new skills. She treasures playing outside and has the opportunity to playtime with sand and water regularly. Her key worker has clearly built a strong relationship with her, but she also enjoys all the other personnel too. My little one joined Woosehill Day Nursery in The Nest in May 2022 at 10 months old.
