Bright Horizons Moortown Day Nursery and Preschool

A highly recommended nursery and preschool. In the current climate and uncertainty that we have had during the pandemic, the nursery has adjusted well with all the challenges and ever-evolving restrictions being imposed on them, the staff and attending children.
Our child has attended the nursery for 3+ years and always looks forward to going back the next day. He’s established some really good friends and relations with the staff. The facilities indoor and outdoor are great and tailored for young children and their evolving curiosity!

An excellent working team who are always so happy, professional and attentive. Can’t praise them enough.
We have another little one on the way and this is the only place we would look to send them.

An amazing nursery with great staff, equipment and dedication to helping children develop into the best they can be before school. I would never consider anywhere else. Good indoor and outdoor space. Easy to park.

Both my children attend this nursery, we looked at alternatives that were slightly closer to home but couldn’t find another setting that we were as happy with so stuck with this one. I’m so glad we did. My daughter has developmental delays and various additional needs and the management and other staff have never made me feel like that’s an issue, she has integrated really well and loves her days at nursery. I’m very happy with the focus and care she gets and feel totally comfortable leaving her each day.
My son has only been going for a few days but already is clearly enjoying it. I would definitely recommend to other parents.

My daughter started at Bright Horizons in October 2021. The management and staff working with my daughter gave me nothing but reassurance during the settling in sessions and considered my feelings as well as my daughters. My daughter has grown greatly in confidence even with only attending one day a week and that is due to the outstanding care she receives. The staff follow her individual interests and provide activities throughout the day that she shows an interest in, making their planning spontaneous and adaptable to the children’s interests, not only in nursery but from my daughter’s interests at home. The staff really do tailor the care and learning to the child as an individual and with being a qualified childcare practitioner myself, I know how important this is to help my daughter learn and Bright Horizons clearly show a strong child-led and child-focused approach. I could not ask for any more from a nursery. I know my daughter is in the best hands!

The warm, friendly and attentive team of Bright Horizons, Moortown are what puts this nursery on a different level from all the others. The staff really care about each of the children’s needs, abilities and what they like to play with and do, creating unique activities for the children each week. The team are always happy and available to have a chat with parents when needed.

Fantastic nursery with an excellent team who I fully trust with my son. Great facilities and they really care so much about the children and their well-being. My son loves his time there and has developed some really strong relationships with his key workers throughout his time here.

We are so happy with the progress our child is making at Bright Horizons, Moortown and only wish we had moved him here long before now. The staff are so engaging and take the time to promote our child’s imagination and learning. One member of staff, in particular, is such a thoughtful and caring teacher. We are so thankful for the encouragement he gives our child to explore his own interests and build his confidence through new activities.

My child has attended Bright horizons for five months so far. The staff are welcoming, friendly, well informed and highly attentive towards my child’s learning and development.
Without fail the staff always provide my wife and I a personalised update on our child’s day, whilst recognising and alleviating any of our own concerns and natural parental anxieties.
The staff consistently show genuine interest, which is commendable and have been actively engaged in our child’s early years development so far.
I recognise the strict safeguarding procedures which are in place at the nursery which comforts us in the knowledge, our child is well protected in our absence.
The facilities are excellent and very secure with convenient access to the onsite gym.
I cannot fault this nursery and the exemplary care they provide.

We highly recommend Bright Horizons. My child struggles with eczema and food allergies, and right from the beginning, when he was seven months old, the Bright Horizons family were attentive to his needs.
The managers are right there when you come in and easy to talk to. The app has been great for keeping us up-to-date on daily activities, as well as rare emergencies like a recent power cut. We get development updates, as well as parents’ evenings.
There’s the benefit of longer hours (7.30 am-6.30 pm), meaning less stress with drop-off and pick-ups. Two hot meals a day also help.
Whilst the outside is small, there are a variety of activities.
During the heat waves, it was reassuring to feel the AC in the building too.
You can feel that the staff genuinely care and enjoy your kid’s company. My child has learnt so much from being at this nursery, and we greatly appreciate all the staff who’ve been with him.
