Bright Horizons Moortown Day Nursery and Preschool

The team truly care about each of the kids’s needs, abilities and what they like to playtime with and do, creating unique activities for the kids each week. The team are consistently cheerful and available to have a chat with parents when needed. The inviting, welcoming and attentive team of Bright Horizons, Moortown are what puts this childcare centre on a different level from all the others.

Outstanding, supportive and our daughter looks forward to going in to see her friends daily.

They have supported us during the challenging potty training phase which has been a excellent relief.

In the current climate and uncertainty that we have had during the pandemic, the childcare centre has adjusted well with all the challenges and ever-evolving restrictions being imposed on them, the team and attending kids.
Our kid has attended the childcare centre for 3+ years and consistently looks forward to going back the next day. He’s established some truly great friends and relations with the team. The facilities indoor and outdoor are excellent and tailored for young kids and their evolving curiosity!

The management and team working with my daughter gave me nothing but reassurance during the settling in sessions and considered my feelings as well as my daughters. My daughter has grown greatly in self‑assurance even with only attending one day a week and that is due to the outstanding care she receives. The team follow her individual interests and provide activities throughout the day that she shows an interest in, making their planning spontaneous and adaptable to the kids’s interests, not only in childcare centre but from my daughter’s interests at home. The team truly do tailor the care and discovering to the kid as an individual and with being a qualified childcare practitioner myself, I know how important this is to help my daughter learn and Bright Horizons clearly show a strong kid-led and kid-focused approach. I could not ask for any more from a childcare centre. I know my daughter is in the best hands! My daughter started at Bright Horizons in October 2021.

I’m so glad we did. My daughter has developmental delays and various additional needs and the management and other team have never made me sense like that’s an issue, she has integrated truly well and loves her days at childcare centre. I’m highly cheerful with the focus and care she gets and sense totally comfortable leaving her each day.
My son has only been going for a few days but already is clearly enjoying it. I would definitely suggest to other parents. Both my kids attend this childcare centre, we looked at alternatives that were slightly closer to home but couldn’t find another setting that we were as cheerful with so stuck with this one.

We chose the childcare centre before lockdown, largely due to being impressed by the manager and her team, who are remarkable. The team were truly supportive with the settling in process and our daughter quickly settled in. The childcare centre is small enough that although there are separate rooms, the team get to know all of the kids, which is something else I truly like.
The childcare centre is truly welcoming and the team are highly attentive and seem cheerful in their work, keeping us well informed about activities and what our daughter has enjoyed doing.
The kids spend plenty of time outdoors and the activities day to day are varied, whilst giving kids the chance to focus on things they are interested in. We adore it when our daughter comes home saying a new word or having learnt a new skill!
We wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this childcare centre. Since our daughter started at childcare centre in January, aged 1, we’ve been truly pleased with our choice.

She was highly fond of the carers and played well with the other kids. They consistently did enjoyable activities and, although my daughter is a picky eater, she consistently particularly enjoyed the meals! The organization was incredible, we were accommodated even when we had trouble getting to the UK in time for the planned starting date. My daughter was enrolled at Bright Horizons for only 2 months, but she had a terrific time, she learned a lot of songs and felt immediately at home in both the Rising 3s and the Preschool group.

My kid struggles with eczema and food allergies, and right from the beginning, when he was seven months old, the Bright Horizons family were attentive to his needs.
The managers are right there when you come in and easy to talk to. The app has been excellent for keeping us up-to-date on daily activities, as well as rare emergencies like a recent power cut. We get development updates, as well as parents’ evenings.
There’s the benefit of longer hours (7.30 am-6.30 pm), meaning less stress with drop-off and pick-ups. Two hot meals a day also help.
Whilst the outside is small, there are a variety of activities.
During the heat waves, it was reassuring to sense the AC in the building too.
You can sense that the team genuinely care and delight in your kid’s company. My kid has learnt so much from being at this childcare centre, and we greatly appreciate all the team who’ve been with him. We highly suggest Bright Horizons.

The team are so engaging and take the time to promote our kid’s imagination and discovering. One member of team, in particular, is such a thoughtful and attentive teacher. We are so thankful for the encouragement he gives our kid to explore his own interests and build his self‑assurance through new activities. We are so cheerful with the development our kid is making at Bright Horizons, Moortown and only wish we had moved him here long before now.

Without fail the team consistently provide my wife and I a personalised update on our kid’s day, whilst recognising and alleviating any of our own concerns and natural parental anxieties.
The team consistently show genuine interest, which is commendable and have been actively engaged in our kid’s early years development so far.
I recognise the strict safeguarding procedures which are in place at the childcare centre which comforts us in the knowledge, our kid is well protected in our absence.
The facilities are outstanding and highly secure with convenient access to the onsite gym.
I cannot fault this childcare centre and the exemplary care they provide. My kid has attended Bright horizons for five months so far.
