Habla Day Nursery

My son has additional needs in relation to his social integration and communication development. His key worker at nursery and other staff have adapted, encouraged and supported him and we his parents. We are very impressed and extremely grateful.

My daughter has been at Habla Day Nursery for nearly a year. All the staff do a fantastic job and my daughter has learnt so much from them.
The facilities are fantastic and it is really good value for money.
The bilingual aspect has been great and my daughter enjoys all the Spanish songs.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds during her time at Habla. I am amazed at her skills in Spanish and her overall learning experience has been outstanding. The nursery has a small, friendly feel, which makes it special. Staff are always there to speak to if needed and we are kept up to date with our child’s progress.
My daughter leaves nursery every day happy and fulfilled and we will miss it so much when she leaves for full-time school, but are so happy we can continue with Spanish as it has given her a fantastic opportunity in life.

Our daughter started coming to nursery when she was almost a year old, she is now two and is so excited when we drop her off – a testament to the wonderful, friendly and dedicated staff. One thing I love about this nursery is that it has a very safe, relaxed, happy and homely feel, and the manager and staff are very good at communicating important info and letting us know what our child has been doing/learning/eating each day. There is s lovely outdoor play area with lots of fun and natural things to play with. The nursery has also offered adult Spanish classes in the evening, which enable parents to support their child’s learning. Throughout the challenges of the lockdown, the manager and staff kept in contact with us sending us ideas for activities and books to read and a daily video call was available so the children could stay connected to nursery and their friends. I would highly recommend this nursery and the benefits of learning a second language from a very early age.

My little boy hurt himself bouncing on his trampoline at home and was in a full leg cast. The staff at Habla Day Nursery could not have done enough for him, they set up a zoom call with his friends and everyone drew him a picture which was dropped round to our house. They really went above and beyond to make a little boy really happy. So happy we chose this nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

We are so happy with Habla. Our son has been going to this nursery since he was 10 months old, he is now 2 1/2. All the staff are fantastic and show a real interest in the children and their development. The staff inform us that our son can understand fully Spanish and can now speak/repeat Spanish words and phrases. During the coronavirus lockdowns the nursery have been fantastic, they accommodated us where possible due to us being key workers and when they were closed sent regular emails of activities/books to read with the children. We receive a daily email to inform us what our son has done in nursery that day which is lovely. I love seeing the photos put on the Habla social media so see our son getting involved with activities and playing outside. The nursery focus on the individual child, let them nap when they want to nap rather than set times like other nurseries. Recently staff continued to potty train my son how I had at home. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

Our son has attended Habla Day Nursery since August last year, this was scheduled to begin in April but was delayed due to Covid-19. My dealings with the management and staff regarding this change and their management of the nursery during extremely difficult times, was fantastic. I have never been concerned regarding his attendance, or his health and welfare. He looks forward to nursery each of the three days a week that he attends. We tell him where he is going and he runs to our front door giving us a wave. When we collect him, he always has a smile on his face and is usually absolutely exhausted from the days activities. He has, as children do, had a couple of falls and been ill and this care and communication from the staff is superb. We are delighted with his development and the feedback we get from all the staff. I have found them to be very understanding and flexible when we ask for a change of day or additional days care. I would strongly recommend this nursery to other parents without hesitation.

The staff at Habla Day Nursery go above and beyond for the children to make every day exciting and full of new educational activities. The team are very welcoming and will always keep parents updated on their children’s progress. The opportunity to raise my child to be bilingual and have this skill for life is extremely important to us and we love Habla Day Nursery!

My daughter has attended Habla Day Nursery since September 2020 and will soon be leaving to start primary school. This is a fantastic nursery with a dedicated team. My daughter is happy, confident, and ready for big school thanks to the team. The nursery provides a safe and enriching environment and has even acquired an allotment where the children get stuck in. I will miss Habla and will always be grateful for the great care and affection shown to my daughter during her time there.
