December 4, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son attends this setting for two days a week and has been going since he was two years old. He settled in really well and enjoys his time there. They offer a variety of learning opportunities. They communicate well and update us on his progress via an online system, which is great for working parents.

December 4, 2019 at 12:00 amMy children love Langar. We moved to the area three months ago when my son was ten months and my daughter three years old. She’d been at another nursery since she was very small, and my son had never been away from me, so I was concerned about her making friends and him settling. It quickly became clear there was no need to worry – the staff handled the move brilliantly, with warmth, expertise and flexibility. They are so friendly and fun, and the setting is welcoming and homely. Now my daughter regularly asks if it’s a ‘school day’ and my son reaches out for his carer in the morning and naps like a champ. The whole experience has been like a giant comfy bear hug. Lovely!

December 9, 2019 at 12:00 amThe nursery staff go above and beyond to help create a safe learning environment for little ones. They embrace the characteristics of individual children and help them to grow and develop at a pace suitable for each child. For a special treat, they allowed me to throw a children’s art class party for my little girls birthday. I got to see first hand the excellent delivery of care that they deliver, the way they helped the children thrive in each activity was beautiful, it really is a special place to send your children. They have great communication, a fantastic range of activities and themes, and a good understanding of food allergies.

January 9, 2020 at 12:00 amAn excellent nursery. Brilliant, caring staff. Our daughter goes in each day and she has learnt so much from everyone. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. The only area for improvement is the food but this is a larger primary school issue.

February 26, 2020 at 12:00 amMy 4-year-old has been attending the setting since September 2018 and is very happy and settled. The setting has a lovely ‘home from home’ atmosphere, and the children form close bonds with the staff. There are plenty of activities to keep them entertained, and it is great to have a nursery on school premises as the children get used to the learning environment that most of them will eventually graduate to. Thank you for looking after us so well, and you will be missed when he goes to school!

September 16, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son started nursery this summer, he is 2.5 and hadn’t ever been before. The staff were so lovely, which made the transition so easy for us. They were warm and patient with him and were so flexible as we got used to the routine. He is so happy that we’ve upped his days.
I’m sure there are nurseries with better facilities and menus etc, but we stuck with this one because our son felt so at home here.

March 9, 2021 at 12:00 amMy child is so happy at Langar. She started in September 2020 and settled in very quickly. She has made a lovely bond with the ladies who look after her and has lots of little friends. The staff communicate everything that I need to know about her day. At the moment she’s struggling with a set back in her potty training and the ladies are being very supportive and helping me to try and get her back on track. The setting is small and homely, full of lots of toys to play with and there is a very safe outdoor space. The ladies are always putting on fun activities to fit in with various events throughout the year.

March 9, 2021 at 12:00 amWow! What a fantastic nursery. I feel extremely lucky to have such a wonderful facility on my doorstep.
My son joined in January 2021 at the age of 1 and like many new parents, I was worried about how he’d settle in. I needn’t have worried as he’s settled in perfectly, all thanks to the amazing staff.
The setting is homely, well equipped and engaging for all ages. I love that all the children are in the same room and can socialise with each other, as opposed to being separated.
They also use an app to keep you updated on your little one throughout the day. Regularly updating it with pictures and developmental milestones, meaning you don’t mind a thing.
However, the main reason this nursery is fantastic is because of the caring, passionate and dedicated individuals that work there.
If you’re looking for a nursery in the area, I can’t recommend Langar Nursery enough.

March 7, 2022 at 12:00 amMy two year old daughter started the nursery in January 2022. Since she’s started she has become so clever, so chatty, always asks for her friends at nursery. The staff are so kind and helpful and have done wonders with my little girl! Can’t thank them all enough for everything they do and have already done! Can’t recommend this nursery enough!

March 7, 2022 at 12:00 amSmall nursery and small baby area but very clean and loads for the babies and children to do. Really like how the babies can see the walking children help with development.
My baby started at approx six months old. Staff have been so accommodating to me and my child made me feel at ease with my baby being there so young.
The staff communicate with you and really make you feel like your experiencing the day with your child through the app. I do not feel like I’m missing out with my baby’s development. Very friendly staff and accommodating!
Highly recommended nursery and it’s so lovely how the school is connected with it.

April 29, 2022 at 12:00 amMy 2 Yr old daughter absolutely loves it here and has come on so much. All of the ladies are lovely and nothing is too much. My daughter comes home looking forward to the next time she goes. I would highly recommend this nursery for children of all ages.

May 27, 2022 at 12:00 amLangar Nursery is exceptional. My husband and I were apprehensive when our son started nursery at eighteen months old as, due to Covid, he had only really been around us. The staff were extremely reassuring and answered my endless questions with patience and understanding.
It is evident how much they care for the children and we chose Langar as it was small and felt like a home from home as soon as we walked in.
They know him so well and we love it when they tell us the funny things he has said or done during a session. When he is having a wobbly morning they know to get a car or digger out, as this will settle and distract him quickly. On rare occasions, he cries, they also take the time to message us so we know he is okay, usually by the time we are back at the car!
Now he can talk he comes out of nursery telling us, ‘I’ve had lots of fun today!’, which is all you can really ask for.
We feel lucky to have such a fantastic setting to help set him up for school.

February 9, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at Langar Nursery in September last year with minimal speech due to a knock-on effect of being a lockdown baby and needing speech therapy, but within a couple of months at Langar she’s come on leaps and bounds. Cannot recommend Langar Nursery enough! The manager and another lady especially have gone above and beyond for my little one. All the ladies at Langar are exceptional and really do treat your children like their own, proper close-knit environment and home away from home environment, so, so lovely! Definitely recommend this nursery, cannot fault it!

February 17, 2023 at 12:00 amAmazing staff. So friendly and warm, both my children really enjoy spending time here. Staff were quick at picking up some trouble my little one was having walking, which encouraged me to make a doctors appointment for him – he’s now (almost) walking fine.
